Anyone got a clue when the next 1m4f Grade 1 for the older horses is?
I know there isn’t one at RA!?
Just received a reply on twitter to this- King George + QEII.
Presumably, that should mean any horses in here that are believed to be grade 1 animals should be ready for today. AVD hasn’t a target at RA of grade 1 status. Perhaps Aidan will have him straighter than some think?

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!June 5, 2020 at 10:21 #1489681Hes 7.4 on the exchange Frenchy so not that much bigger than I backed at
Everything is drifting because of the money for ghaiyyath not because hes not fit
Varian said hes very happy with defoe the other day so if he loses that cant be an excuse
June 5, 2020 at 11:26 #1489684Defoe back to 5’s with Bet365
Probably Tom Segal has tipped him up at 8’s somewhere and bet365 put it up for show purposesGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
June 5, 2020 at 12:23 #1489689The QEII is 1 mile.
There is only ever 2 Group 1 12f races each year for all older horses. The Yorkshire Oaks is for fillies.
Should have added the fillies and mares on champions day is 11.5f

JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 5, 2020 at 15:41 #1489724As I feared no one took the fave on. Proud of AVD. Wd backers the winner got the job done today interesting to see if he dominates rest of the year.
June 5, 2020 at 15:48 #1489726They tried Mike but he had flown..Frankie realised he was getting away and AVD ran a good race…I think this is Ghaiyyath’s year..he’ll be hard to beat..
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 5, 2020 at 15:52 #1489729WD Jac and everyone else on, that was easy!
June 5, 2020 at 15:54 #1489730Really enjoyed that he’s a monster.
I think he’ll be underrated in his next start too, with people saying he got away from them, given an easy lead etc.
Hope he’s put away now for the king george as I believe he needs a long break between runs.
June 5, 2020 at 15:54 #1489731It was after a break again Jac too. Can he follow up without long breaks or will he be campaigned with races spaced out I wonder. Let’s see.
June 5, 2020 at 15:54 #1489732I’d be happy to take him on with AVD next time no bother. He was given a free one there from the front on a track that’s favouring prominent racers. When he gets competition, he goes backwards as proven!

Well done to all his followers.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 5, 2020 at 16:01 #1489735I’d like to see Charlie Appleby bring him out sooner rather than later and prove that he’s not just a decent horse after a break Mike.
That is the best I’ve seen him look and race and Will Buick knew he had more to give every time the challengers got closer and they were all top class horses.
Ghaiyyath is on his top game this season.. Simply the Best.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 5, 2020 at 16:03 #1489736Well done Ghaiyyath supporters
This time he looked fully fit and the other riders speculated wrong to certainly catch him. - AuthorPosts
