Dave
I agree that minorities can be as bigotted as majorities, and that really the only sensible rule in life is to treat people as you find them, on an individual basis.
Alchemist rightly points out my use of the Black Country accent, where I should have used the Brummie. I find the Brummie accent harder to transcribe and less amusing, but that is no excuse.

June 18, 2005 at 23:23 #91278Well Im disapointed your all friends now …. I was really enjoying the debate
Sky hates the homosexual group hug syndrome
Yuck
June 24, 2005 at 12:11 #91279Is that it? Are we finished? I was so enjoying all that holier than though banter I almost forgot to kick the cat. Now there’s a subject – animal cruelty. Anyone for tennis?
August 15, 2005 at 18:55 #91281Just thought I should spoil the love and harmony and give you a bit of reality that I was trying to prove to you all why you should not live in London, but particuly Harrow.
I go on holiday for 2 weeks, and upon my return, I drive from Heathrow to Harrow, (a journey of 10 miles max), and I spot 4 of the very fashionable large Met Police yellow street signs. 2 street assault, 1 rape and 1 agrivated robbery.
I read the local paper………3 murdered near Wembley, numerous gun shots were heard, but nobody reported it.
(well you wouldnt would you. its so common)
So today I return to work, to earn a crust, to provide for the family I love…. And guess what! I could not take my usuall route to my job because the police have blocked the road, to investigate a murder and 2 serious stabbings, only 500 meters from where I live……..
Happy days.. And what a lovely welcome home.
Oh! and by the way………….
None of the above mentioned were British English!
I was so wrong ???? Was I ?

The bloody Welsh. Up to no good again.
August 16, 2005 at 13:08 #91283First one Welsh family moves in. They seem nice enough. But then, before you know it, there’s a Methodist chapel at the end of the street and male voice choirs hanging around the shopping centre.
This country is going to the dogs.
August 16, 2005 at 14:12 #91286We should bomb them back to the coal age….
August 16, 2005 at 16:36 #91287Quite right
We need to act now. All those consonants without vowels will erode our traditional cockney.
Where’s that ballot box? How do you spell BNP?
August 16, 2005 at 16:44 #91288You really need to move LM .. or get a gun.
August 16, 2005 at 19:26 #91290I know DJ.
Its a shame that you have to be driven out of the place you have been brought up in though, dont you think.
The choice I have is…….
Move away from my family or possibly, very possibly have to deal with the low life scum that are given free housing and the right to do what they want, when they want.
Shame init!

Lolly’s Mate,
I couldn’t agree more. When the British colonised Ireland, they took the land from the Irish people and gave it to settlers (a right shower of louts, by most accounts), they deported thousands of Irish to other colonies, did little as two million Irish died of starvation and another two million had to emigrate to survive. It was also illegal to speak your native language, practice your religion or receive an education.
You have my sympathies………..
August 22, 2005 at 18:09 #91294As I keep saying Ian, do you not think that its a shame that I have to move away from the area I and my Mother and Father grew up in, an area I used to love, an area that I have worked hard to make a buisness of my own, just because of our new multi cultural, lawless and murdering society has made it impossible to walk home from your local on a Sunday night?
BTW. The murder and 2 other stabbings that happened only 2 minutes walk from my front door, only made page 3 of the Harrow Observer, as its buisness as usual for them.
ACR1.
Were talking 2005. not 1900.
But as you mention it, the language practice and religion thing is almost the same in England now!
My god. How we have moved on!
August 22, 2005 at 18:39 #91297Davis.
You moved six times before you settled down and had kids and started your beautiful buisness.
I have moved 4 times in my whole life. All before I had kids and an established buisness.
If Ihave to move, which it lookes like I will, then its for no reason of my own, but about the scum that are being placed around me.
I like my house, my buisness, my kids school my local pub, but its getting more and more difficult for my to stay here because of the new natives….
I really have to have my poo now!
To be continued!
August 22, 2005 at 19:03 #91301I oppologise to you Mr Ian DaviEs.
But when you gotta go……. You gotta go.
So as I was saying.
Would you be prepared to start your life all over again, ie buisness, kids uprooting schools bigger mortgage etc, and would you be happy about it because of something you dissagree with?
Sorry……… Macaroni cheese is awaiting.
See you all tomorow.
(well I wont acctually see you but you know what I mean)
God bless, and remember if you live on your own, BOO!

Lolly – we’re not talking 1975 either. Britain is a different place than when you grew up with mummy and daddy and there’s no going back.
As an outsider, I’d have to say that the face of British thuggery is not black or asian but a p**s
ed-up white bloke with a Union Jack somewhere about his clothing. How did toilet training go for you, btw? You remind me of my son was he was about three and he’d just been toilet trained. He was so proud he’d let everybody within earshot know he was off for a dump. Is your bowel control a recently acquired skill?

Lollys mate only grew up with Mummy.
And by the way, I’m sure that you poo aswell.
