GF might struggle to get in off 138. Last season anything under 140 looked to be struggling until the ground turned bad.

Regardless of his mark, Glen Forsa needs one more outing over fences to even qualify for the race and that could prove tricky given that the entries are (or at least were) due next Tuesday, we’re in the middle of a no-racing period and he’s not entered for anything atm, Note: He was entered in a couple of postponed races last Saturday.

If he does run and is as well in as we think then he won’t still be on 138 next Wednesday. Might be tough to ensure that he gets a significant enough rise to guarantee a position without getting more than 7lbs to take him over the ceiling though. As Ben Pauling could testify to.

I’m a bit confused why Elliott says Cubomania is heading here when he’s already rated 147. I can’t imagine The handicapper would downgrade his rating for staying in his box

Very good form winning twice and then finishing second to Winter Escape. 5YO and well thought of at Henrys, should still be improving and will have a top jock in the saddle.
Rated 140 in IRE, hopefully sneaks in and think he can go close.

Movewithetimes has always promised to land a decent pot and while I’d prefer to see him in the Brown Advisory later in the week, this seems more likely. He’s also entered in the Ultima and NH Chase, but I can’t see him being stepped up.

I’d much rather have seen Roaring Bull go for The Plate, but he’s been declared for this, so he’ll be my backup here.

Stablemate Ben Dundee is extremely interesting as well, along with Solomn Grundy, who is surely better than last time.

Might chuck a second dart at this in the form of Highway One O One. Has been a model of consistency his entire career and beat a horse I fancy to go close later in the week in Spiritofthegames over track and trip last time out. 12/1 seems very fair, though the 10/1 six places offered by Skybet is a very tempting play.

Already on Cubomania here win-only and will be adding Roaring Bull and Azzerti both EW 6 places. Just hoping that the ground is soft enough that a good ground horse comes out allowing Azzerti to take his chance. Also like Highway One O One, but you can’t back them all….
