I’m with TDK, I think Thisthatandtother is a knocking bet at 25’s ob betfair. Has the beating of his stablemate on boylesports form and whilst he has work to make up on Monet’s, should he be 8 times the price for 8 lengths?
Attorney General looks likely to run well in the Pertemps Final. He has numerous good efforts over this course and distance. Yard in as good as form as they are likely to be and is back down to his last winning mark.

March 15, 2007 at 12:00 #46429i’m on mighty man antepost at 10/1, my only AP play, and breathed a sigh of relief as it became evident the ground wasn’t going to be heavy. I don’t buy the flat track theory, its just he has taken a while to grow up and learn to travel through his races. He’s won once at cheltenham and it would have been twice bar an excellent ride on the french furze where the race was stolen at the start. Only once has he been out of the first 3 and that over an inadequate 2 miles in the greatwood hurdle, i really think, and hope, it will be his day today.
i’d also love our vic to win the ryan air but also fancy Hi Cloy at a bigger price. i think taranis is a terrible price in a race with 3 grade1 and two grade2 winners.
March 15, 2007 at 14:17 #46430On Mighty Man myself Roly – GL
Also have Monet’s and Opera Mundi. Will try and sort the last two out when the ale kicks in ;)
March 15, 2007 at 14:17 #46431This just goes from bad to worse…
March 15, 2007 at 14:31 #46432Ive backed temoin at big odds. Hoping he just improves greatly for the better ground since he didnt travel a yard on heavy last time out. Chancing his arm.
Nice one, Fsl.
Hope you had enough on to put you in front?:)
March 15, 2007 at 15:39 #46437Bloody Mccririck never listen to the fat waster, Kasbah Bliss my nan could have ran faster than that.
March 15, 2007 at 15:44 #46438I had £40 @ 10/1 last March.
Amazing though because my antepost bets (Voy Por Ustedes @ 14s and Taranis @ 16s) have all gone well but my day of race betting has been generally p*** poor lol. Nice when the unflinching support for a horse is rewarded.
Unlucky Roly and Lee, looked like you were going to collect for a second.
And glad to see BJK got up, that looked a nasty fall.
March 15, 2007 at 15:46 #46439Our Vic, bloody hell I give up. Had to swerve round a faller, finished like a train, beaten a neck, should’ve won.
My only other bet of the week so far Fair Along also hampered by a faller (although don’t think would’ve won anyway).
I’m beginning to feel persecuted by some higher authority.
One bet left – Exotic Dancer who will no doubt be five lengths clear on the run in only to fall over a twig.
Bah, fkin humbug.
March 15, 2007 at 15:52 #46440Don’t say that flash I’ve backed Exotic Dancer too!
If Kauto Star falls tomorrow that will be 3/4 big races where the favourite has fallen. Has that ever happened before? Not a festival for favourites thus far.
March 15, 2007 at 15:52 #46441wd FSL, great finish to the race. We converted you yet?
Hope you win then lol.
Been a bit of a strange meeting all in all. McCoy overdue a big winner, lets hope he gets it in the Gold Cup. ;)

That’s a loaded question because my horse won lol! Ask me 10 minutes after The Derby!
March 15, 2007 at 16:01 #46444Nice one FSL – only had 50 on Mighty Man so glad you collected.
Knew what I was backing and with the exception of BJK’s fall you could have called the way the race would go hours ago.
Need Opera to win otherwise Gungadu and Rowley Hill will have the hopes of my car on their shoulders.
I feel violated :(
March 15, 2007 at 16:01 #46445God Lee gl. Stick to the flat mate ;)
