Just had a look at the rainfall radar and backed Ireland in the Prestbury Cup, Willie to have 2 or more winners on Day 1, 4 or more Irish trained winners on Day 1 and the NH chase to have the biggest winning distance of the Festival.

At the mean hours of past-midnight last night, a few beers to the good, I figured it’s gonna be dodgy enough ground in Cheltenham. With that in mind I put a wallet breaking 75p each way on a 200/1 shot, Our Merlin, in the Arkle. Woke up today and it’s 250/1. This is gonna make or break me.

Finally it,s here , I’ve done plenty ante post during the winter , sadly today doesn’t have many good looking tickets so I’ve played

1.30 I’ve played both asterion forlonge and fiddler on the roof , not a race I played antepost and haven’t gone mad this morn , rev forecast the pair

2.10 played Fakir odairies earlier in winter , sure to run well but maybe not classy enough , today played notebook and cash back , thoughts are notebook has best form this year but no chelt form concerns me , cash back also , he,s brought better horses for this but telling he is only firing 1 bullet

My main play of the day , I like last year’s RSA form and I’ve stated prev I believe vindication could be justified running in the GC, be backed him up with kildisart and cobra de main e.w , also reverse forecast , vinndication is my 2nd biggest play of the week

The champion hurdle handicap , seriously that’s how it feels , I’ve antepost tickets on sharjah (bigger value that today ) and fusil raffles (I don’t want to look at the price on those tickets ) , hey it’s wide open , I’ve played cillas emery today and today is the first e.w play of fusil however the main play if cornerstone lad ….he,ll love the ground , he,ll travel and I think he,ll like the hill , whatever happens nothing would surprise in this today
