Anyone had a look at Billy Ray? Looks unexposed given expected conditions and hopefully ridden more patiently
October 7, 2019 at 20:34 #1465301If you ignore that Ascot run Mark, then I’d definitely give him a chance.
Excellent run behind Withhold, and also an encouraging run here in The Summer.
October 7, 2019 at 22:07 #1465318When you look at Buildmeupbuttercup’s nk second to Kastasa, giving her lots of weight, it really does look strong form. Those two didn’t finish on their own so it’s probable the form shouldn’t be taken that literal. I still quite like Great White Shark for this, but i’ll wait and see nearer the time.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!October 7, 2019 at 22:35 #1465323My knowledge of the flat is very poor to say the least. Just like my national hunt racing really.
However picked 2 against the field here. Buildmeupbuttercup is my win selection odds not justify each way support. Did consider him for the Ebor but notice he was too low down so extremely unlikely to make the final field. He was a bit of a fun bet with on the lounge section the was a topic of top ten records. My other bet was Who Dares Wins. A course and distance winner at 25/1 worth each way.

Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.October 8, 2019 at 11:53 #1465353Time To Study looks like a good bet at around 16/1.
The trainer loves a tilt at this and although he’s never won it his horses are often on the premises.
He seems to have got the horse coming back to his best since his transfer from Mark Johnstons but is still 10lbs or so below his peak rating and with the top apprentice, Cieron Fallon, taking off another 3 could be very well handicapped. He’ll love the ground and only finished 3 lengths behind BuildMeUpButterCup over 2 1/2 at Ascot and is now 9lbs better off (including the claim).
So he’ll do for me.
October 8, 2019 at 13:25 #1465356Jack, I’m still in the same boat myself, I’m wanting to bet Great White Shark, but even with all those Mullins withdrawals, can’t be 100% he’ll head here.
October 8, 2019 at 14:17 #1465361He seems to hate Ascot, VTC, and Channons strike rate there in recent years is appalling
I’m surprised I’m considering one of his for a big race but there aren’t many I like at the head of the market, aside from the Balding horse
October 8, 2019 at 23:09 #1465382I’m the same Mark, he’s not a trainer I go to for the bigger prizes too often, and his Barbill is the only one I can think of recently, but I wouldn’t be letting that put me off too much. Still think you’ve got an interesting one there.
October 8, 2019 at 23:19 #1465383Willie Mullins has got his three jocked up.
Dettori takes the ride on Buildmeupbuttercup, Jason Watson on Stratum, and I’m pleased to see Great White Shark with William Buick up.
The price is holding with Great White Shark, so need to dive straight in, but I’ll keep an eye on it.
October 9, 2019 at 09:38 #1465399I can’t find these jockey bookings for WPM?

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!October 9, 2019 at 10:59 #1465402Who Dares Wins ran a very good race against Group 1 company at Longchamp on Saturday finishing 7 lengths in fourth place on ground described as very soft . Alan (King) has said that he’s happy with WDW and that it was a very good run in France and that in future races he’ll be up 5 pounds so is technically well in.

Don't mess with mister in between.October 9, 2019 at 11:55 #1465407Just backed Great White Shark @ 10/1 & Eddystone Rock EW @ 25/1
I like Great White Sharks profile for this. Bolted up with loads in hand LTO on the flat over 2m and his recent exploits over hurdles don’t leave me concerned as I expect those runs will have him ready with this being the plan.
Eddystone Rock seems to have loved this step up in trip. Won easily at Ascot and came from way out the back to get up at York. The more he got going the more it looked like further would suit so he’s a must EW play in my book
October 9, 2019 at 17:37 #1465465Good to see you back Charlie, and good lick with Great White Shark.
October 9, 2019 at 22:40 #1465493I have backed Seinesational at 50/1, Has good form with Timoshenko and is FIVE times the price

I am sure I will be backing more when they go extra places too!!
October 10, 2019 at 08:14 #1465500Thanks VTC. Good to be back, jumps fast upon us
