Viper
for me, though it appears I have missed the really fancy prices.
October 17, 2009 at 03:06 #253752My 3 I like for this;
Woolfall Treasure
Very, very keen on him, ever since the entries out he striked me as a potential to do well here, Moore seems very keen saying a few month back he is very much a Ceasrewitch type and had him aimed for this a long time, got in Ryan Moore surely fasting to get on him for his father. Form took a slight knock but I have to keep the faith since I have him big at 39.0
Serath
Money talks

Fair Along
If there was a Cariccola type in the race I think it would be Fair Along would fit it well, a former 3rd in the race he has the feel for it also when Leg Spinner but I still think that would be fairly useful coming into this.
October 17, 2009 at 04:19 #253765I have sort have been following Hugh Taylor’s tips’s on attheraces web site his tip for this is DAYIA 50-1 at the moment i have not had a proper look at this reace but i think i will have a 5 e/w on this along with something i pick out maybe YES MR PRESIDENT…
October 17, 2009 at 14:10 #253820I backed Swingkeel to win today.
October 17, 2009 at 16:02 #253844If I’ve got to narrow it down to three [having backed half the field!]I’ll go Viper, Royal Rationale and Tilt[absolutely no chance with that draw, but still had to have another 25 pence at 100/1]..oh, and Bulwark [thats four….] For a race with so many trends it really is impossible. Will just watch next year, I think.

I like Royal Rationale and Sweetheart but no great value there or confidence.

October 17, 2009 at 19:00 #253902Come on Welols Lyrical and Mamlook
October 17, 2009 at 19:09 #253905Fist; before you say anything…don’t! I’m bleeding here, bleeding! [actually, feel free to say I told you so; the fact is the horse ticked every single box except one, which was the age, and the form was there for all to see…..even I could see that; but it’s easy to get tunnel vision sometimes].
October 17, 2009 at 19:19 #253909I Decided to ignore the stats and thankfully it came off. A very impressive horse and maybe we have seen an Ascot Gold Cup horse for the next few years. Also we have seen one hell of a young jockey to ride a 9/2 in the 30 odd runner 2m race and to ride him to perfection was very very impressive
October 17, 2009 at 19:20 #253910Pleased for connections; now to decipher all the stats, the most obvious being that you can get placed with a bad draw but still not win.Woolfall Treasure to be watched next year, because I understand he stumbled part way through the race when going very well, and there was a lot of money going on him at the last minute this year. DP’s horses to be seriously respected.And don’t back a 3 year old till 2019. Although these races are handicaps, you still need that touch of class to win, and a rogue horse will always be a rogue horse no matter what his weight or the trainers plans [Tilt, I mean you….].
