All being well will run tomorrow in the nursery at Wolves.
July 21, 2005 at 20:59 #95235Thanks again GD
Good luck with him everyone!July 22, 2005 at 20:34 #95237I was surprised to see him 5-1 second favourite in the Times in the morning, but 20-1 by the off. Anyone know any reason for that? He ran OK but is he better on turf perhaps?
July 22, 2005 at 22:10 #95238He’ll have a little rest after today and hopefully come back and win a race backend of the season.

July 24, 2005 at 15:58 #95240Celeritas again ran creditably at Wolves but to my mind is exposed, not well treated and on a stiff mark for nurseries. What sort of race do you plan to go for next?
July 27, 2005 at 08:29 #95242Ideally win a weak maiden, then move back into nurseries. The only reason we have a high mark is due to his 2nd to Puskas at Newmarket which had some quality horses behind us. I agree he is exposed as we let him run to his best ability and he rarely throws in a bad one but Fridays race was a bit hot with 2 good ones 1st & 2nd (course record) but we should have not give up 3rd so easily, he just looks a little lazy as again he wasn’t blowing too hard. He’s been in training now since Feb and we are going to geld him which also will give him a 6 week break then bring him back when the grounds changed to have some cut in it.
September 6, 2005 at 15:20 #95243Hope everything went ok with the gelding of Celeritas. Any news on when he will next run, as he seems to have had a healthy break now.
Just curious, I have been following him all season all feel he definitely has races in him at some stage.
Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers.
September 6, 2005 at 15:25 #95244He’s been cantoring for the last few weeks now and started full training yesterday. We are planning for 2 more races before he goes to the sales at the end of October, one should be in the last week of September or there abouts.
The operation went well with no infections, you’ll be seeing him soon hopefully.
September 28, 2005 at 13:16 #95245All being well he’ll be running at Windsor on Monday.
September 29, 2005 at 06:16 #95246Lovely
Fingers crossed he’s OK and survives our trip on saturday unscathed then!October 2, 2005 at 16:04 #95248See he is in at Windsor tomorrow , newly gelded with first time blinkers and Spencer up.
Pedicted SP 12/1 sixth best.
Good luck!
October 2, 2005 at 20:19 #95249Good luck everyone!
October 3, 2005 at 16:35 #95250Squeezed at the start at Windsor today and effectively no chance thereafter.
Plan as posted is one more race before off to the sales.
What do you have in mind?
October 3, 2005 at 20:46 #95251Unfortunately the 2 either side in the stalls ruined any chance we may of had within 5 strides!!! Jamie has just cantored him home and saved him for another day soon over 6f probably.
October 3, 2005 at 20:49 #95252How frustrating! That’s the trouble with a big field like that; so much luck involved too.
October 4, 2005 at 00:41 #95253A couple of piccies from Monday

October 10, 2005 at 21:19 #95255Weather permitting he should be running at Newmarket on either Thursday or Friday.
Thursday’s race should be on the freeview on RUK for those who don’t subscribe (unless it gets divided).
