October 12, 2005 at 09:59 #95257Ted Durcan rides.
Although he hasn’t ridden Celeritas before he has ridden Gloaming for us in the past.
October 12, 2005 at 17:55 #95258Good luck though he may struggle to beat the Godolphin runner in particular and perhaps Hannon and Elsworth reps..
October 13, 2005 at 16:53 #95259He did OK to halfway before dropping away?
What are plans now?
Are you still thinking of 1 more run before the sales? If so what sort of contest?
October 13, 2005 at 20:33 #95260He looked very tired near the end after going quite well. Was the ground against him? It didn’t look a good run at all sadly.
October 14, 2005 at 00:04 #95261Ground was fine, perhaps just feeling the effects of what has been a busy season.
That’ll be his last run of the season.
October 14, 2005 at 05:38 #95262Good, he’s run a lot better than that. He just looked tired.

October 14, 2005 at 14:40 #95265Is the plan still to send him to the sales in October?
October 16, 2005 at 20:30 #95266Did anyone see who was running against the great Rooster Booster yesterday at 100-1? None other than John Gallagher’s ‘My Sharp Grey’. I wonder why he decided to enter him, although considering the difference in class between the two horses, I thought he did rather well.
October 16, 2005 at 21:22 #95267Only 100-1 against Rooster Booster yet 66-1 when last at Towcester a fortnight ago in considerably lesser company! It was remarked upon to some amusement at Huntingdon yesterday, but bless her despite looking quite out of place in the paddock she wasn’t TOO humiliated in picking up money for fourth…
October 16, 2005 at 21:23 #95268Simple reason burrough,the prize money for finishing 4th.
October 17, 2005 at 05:13 #95269Yeah I suppose it was just a good opportunity he couldn’t miss, but I still think she aquitted herself very well. She looked like she really enjoyed herself too, so it’s probably been a useful run for her.
October 17, 2005 at 20:58 #95270A long trip tomorrow to Yarmouth for John Gallagher and the 2 Y’Old Make My Dreams who looks to have a serious place chance. Here’s hoping for a deserved change of luck.
October 18, 2005 at 05:24 #95271Enjoy your trip Alex! Wish John all the best from me, and good luck with Make My Dreams. :)
October 18, 2005 at 15:18 #95272Make My Dream ran creditably in 4th,but it was good to see Kirsty have an overdue first winner with Rochesis.
