Any up to date plans?
May 17, 2005 at 22:00 #95193Still looking for a maiden race for him to get a run in before any longterm plans are drawn up.
May 18, 2005 at 11:19 #95195He has been declared tommorrow at Goodwood, but will only run if the ground is suitable.
May 19, 2005 at 17:22 #95196Goodwood off -fog!
May 19, 2005 at 20:55 #95197Yeah that was a shame! I was getting all excited
June 2, 2005 at 20:07 #95198Celeritas entered in a maiden event tomorrow night at Haydock, is he definitely going to run?
I have been watching him with great interest and he has been entered but hasn’t ran a few times recently.
If he is running, I presume Frankie wont be riding, any idea who else will be?
Looks a very nice prospect by the way, hope all goes well for evryone involved.
If at all possible….. is he raring to go and should he go close?
Cheers.
June 2, 2005 at 20:50 #95199He hasn’t run as he’s a few little niggly problems since his last run that have been sorted now and has had some general bad luck (like getting stuck in traffic on the way to the course).
Unfortunately not got the best of draws at Haydock. I’ll be able to answer that last question of yours at about 8pm Friday!
June 2, 2005 at 20:53 #95200As it’s Haydock, I assume that won’t be on ATR. Am I right?
June 3, 2005 at 12:49 #95201Good luck tonight everybody
June 4, 2005 at 18:37 #95202Ran well for a long way before appearing not to get home over the six.
Back over five he’ll hopefully win a race in the coming weeks.
RUK didn’t show live pictures of the race BH so nobody got to see it (presumably they showed it later on).
June 5, 2005 at 17:07 #95203Have to agree with GD about Celeritas on Friday night, he got out well and was going well, but suffered a furlong and a half out before dropping away. He clearly didn’t get the trip but I would suggest he has a 5f race in him this season.
He is entered for a race on Tuesday, presumably he won’t go there, any ideas where he’s going next?
Also, where does this leave his Coventry prospects?
June 5, 2005 at 17:52 #95204Sadly he won’t go to the royal meet, more likely to be seen in a 5f maiden in the next fortnight.

June 6, 2005 at 06:04 #95205Thanks GD
June 10, 2005 at 18:21 #95207He’s already proved he could be competative in a listed race judged on his second to Puskas, who’s next run was a very respectable finish in a listed race with numerous bad luck to boot. We need a maiden race boost now before probably stepping him back up in class if he runs well. We don’t believe in protecting handicap marks Ian as if he’s good enough to run in good class races then why not, isn’t that what we all dreamed about when joining in with an unraced 2yo.
June 14, 2005 at 18:49 #95209Best of Luck tomorrow guys
June 14, 2005 at 20:18 #95210Where’s he running? Any details please?
It’s OK, I’ve found it. 7.30 at Nottingham tomorrow.

June 15, 2005 at 22:22 #95212Thanks Harry for the kind words, and to James Willoughby for his very persistent bigging-up of us here at TRF, very much appreciated James.
They were exactly our jockey’s comments Harry, so we’ll see next time out if a change of tactics can get us to the front at the right time.
