Final Demand is 12/1 on the Betfair Sportsbook to win this race and next year’s Gold Cup.
January 9, 2026 at 11:57 #1749864Thanks CAS… I had seen it, will chip away a quid at a time, here and there.. I was hoping for 20’s but they don’t give much away, sportsbook can be tight so maybe someone else might put their prices up, skybet and Paddy usually move early but they are all related these days so I don’t expect any standouts
Currently 1/1 roughly for this so that makes him about 6/1 for the Gold Cup
This race is looking stronger now but if all goes to plan you’d expect him to be nearer 8/13 maybe 1/2 at a push on the dayGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 9, 2026 at 12:00 #1749865Youll get better than 6/1 he wins the gc
Next year after the festival surely win or lose?Thats a bad price 12/1
January 9, 2026 at 12:08 #1749869at the moment yes… might be looking better this time next year, though.
I certainly wouldn’t advise lumping on it but will chip a quid at it now and again

January 13, 2026 at 19:20 #1750373Rory Delargy has out up Western Fold ( 33-1 when he picked it, now 20s )
Derryhassen Paddy out at least until Punchestown and the British contingent is starting to look rather thin on the ground
January 18, 2026 at 10:35 #1750924Not gonna beat final demand but i could see slade steel in the places at a big, big price. So much experience for a novice, of course thats because it cant win a race!
January 24, 2026 at 18:13 #1751735Sixmilebridge runs 31st Jan so have taken a chance on him for this race at 25s with a fiver freebie and we’ll see if that’s a decent price this time next week.
January 25, 2026 at 21:30 #1751928Yeah I’m a six mile fan as well.
Beat some decent horses already this season and with final demand so short it gives plenty opportunities for value in behind.
33’s with Denise.

February 1, 2026 at 13:20 #1752914Fergal Obrien will be a happy man , the form for his horse is looking even stronger now

February 1, 2026 at 13:22 #1752915Final demand won’t win a GC , he won’t stay , I wonder if they’ll contemplate Champion Chase ..

February 1, 2026 at 13:26 #1752920Can’t say that I’m impressed by FD but the seemed to be no pace, perhaps a stronger pace could help. However win or lose his odds make no appeal to me.
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.February 1, 2026 at 13:27 #1752921He got beat by Kitzbuhel who couldn’t jump with Sixmilebridge
