Uni’s owner says Uni could be Queen Anne bound nex year, says he’ll have to “do some arm twisting with Chad”
That would be awesome!
Old Persian’s been aimed at this, he’s a big danger for sure but very average form really this year so would take a leap of faith. Bricks & Mortar 6/6 a worthy favourite but there isn’t any real stand out form in there so AVD doesn’t have a lot to fear. He showed he is back to his derby form last time out and everything is right for him tonight, “trip, ground, track and draw” comments from AOB.
Picked him for the derby though so maybe I’m looking at it through rose tinted specs
November 2, 2019 at 23:48 #1473801How ryan moore just got AVD beat god knows
Unlucky frenchy
November 2, 2019 at 23:48 #1473802Anthony Van Dyck got caught in traffic…hard luck. Hope he stays in training for next year.
November 2, 2019 at 23:49 #1473803Old Persian is a lame duck, he can only win crappy Meydan races
November 2, 2019 at 23:52 #1473804Not a great ride from Moore. Anthony Van Dyck was flying when he broke through. He just might have been good enough.
November 2, 2019 at 23:55 #1473805FFS! Not my meeting this one. Think that’s it for AVD as well, not sure he’ll be back next season. Really hope he does though he has such a big engine when he gets going, gutted with that result and it’ll be a disappointing end if it is but he did me proud at Epsom.
That’s me done. I’ll wake up to mcKenzie beating Code of Honour on the line no doubt !
November 2, 2019 at 23:59 #1473806@Frenchie – Think AVD will remain in training. Japan and AVD will be O’Brien’s go to older horses next year.
November 3, 2019 at 00:01 #1473807Disastrous ride by Moore
November 3, 2019 at 00:02 #1473809Totally agree Befair!
November 3, 2019 at 00:16 #1473810After seeing the back story behind the name would very much like mckinzie to win
November 3, 2019 at 00:26 #1473813Backed United in the last; only because there seemed to be some last minute money going on it but, as I did so it went from 40’s to 50’s. And VtC’s Zero Alpha nearly got 3rd [so close].

November 5, 2019 at 05:33 #1474048Just read AOBs comments after the race and looks like Anthony Van Dyke is staying in training then, that’s wonderful news! He’s got some older middle distance colts for next year! AVD, Japan, Mount Everest
