Ahoy Senor is the only one on my mind here. His run here last season was impressive and I thought that 4-1 was a fantastic price. Unfortunately so did a lot of other people and the majority of my money is on at 7-2/3-1 after he got clipped in
March 29, 2023 at 18:07 #1641821I feel a lot of people will agree with you so hoping to get a nice price on Conflated to take him and shiskin on with
April 2, 2023 at 11:14 #1642204ff91, I haven’t bet him yet myself, but Conflated is definitely my early fancy
I would also like Fury Road, but he could go for Marsh Chase
April 3, 2023 at 11:10 #1642312I wondered if Mullins would send Gailard Du Mesnil here, even though it wouldn’t be his normal m.o
In that unlikely event, I’m another who will be in the conflated camp
April 7, 2023 at 15:40 #1642617This is a race that I always enjoy, and I will have Ga Law at 40-1. Although after the fall at Cheltenham, I would like to see Ahoy Senor do it
April 11, 2023 at 13:34 #1642906Looks like one of the best races run at Aintree in some time
Definitely a no bet race for me now
Unless something drifts to too big a price
April 11, 2023 at 14:26 #1642908One to sit back and enjoy. I think Bravemansgame will win if I had to pick one.
April 11, 2023 at 22:02 #1642990Shishkin for me. His races at Ascot and Cheltenham were impressive. Obviously he didn’t win at Cheltenham, but despite that big error he almost got there in the end. I think the step up in trip might be a plus and I’m a little suspicious about Gold Cup runners only 4 weeks later.
Shishkin 3/1
April 12, 2023 at 10:44 #1643023Cant say i agree with this being a good race FF, BMG will win by a mile with conflated 2nd, everything else is a dud
April 12, 2023 at 18:13 #1643060Ah Shishkin has tonnes of ability Ham can’t be denied, while he’s a frustration.
We know Ahoy Senor isn’t bad around Aintree on his day.
A Plus Tard could be gone, but that was his first run for a long time, so god knows he could improve. Rachael seems positive he was running a big enough race before having to jump two fallers and thinks he’s fresh for this.
Then there’s the two you mention.
Not bad at all

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!April 12, 2023 at 18:21 #1643062A horrible race from a betting perspective with question marks about all of them.
I ought to leave it alone but I will probably back Ahoy Senor just because of his course form.
April 12, 2023 at 18:30 #1643064If you rewatch the Ryanair it’s bonkers that Shiskin was able to finish 2nd , he might well need 3 and while I hate deserting BMG I reckon Shiskin might have a gear to many , wouldn’t touch Ahoy , BMG has beaten him all season and coming
off a hard fall in the GCPick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 12, 2023 at 18:39 #1643067Noone is going to know who has recovered sufficiently from Cheltenham that’s the issue here, including the trainers. At least Ahoy Senor wasn’t asked any serious questions at the business end of his race.
April 12, 2023 at 18:41 #1643068Bravemansgame out. Sounds like it is due to the Vertem situation.
April 12, 2023 at 18:55 #1643070Yes it is CAS
Vf x
April 12, 2023 at 19:01 #1643071Long term that might well be a good choice , enjoy your summer lad
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 12, 2023 at 19:09 #1643072Slightly off topic, Anyone able to simplify what dances FCA breach is without me having to read too much into it?
Shame for the race
And jack, shishkin hasnt been seen since ascot in jan 22, this shishkin id give no chance to, even without BMG, pulled up would be my guess, even his jumpings gone…
