    Hi Godolphin

I like a confident manner, born of knowledge and achievement.

Analyse a card before the event.

Godlophin – good thought provoking stuff!

Aren’t you ‘odds compiling’ after a fashion in identifying, say, Sleeping Indian’s % winning chance?

    Steady on Godolphin.

I think that, once you’ve been here a short time, you’ll realise that instant claims to punting gurudom are greeted with a modicum of suspicion, until you’ve proved your credentials. Understandable, I’m sure you’ll agree.

In the meantime members such as Seabird, with a longstanding record of illustrating that they know what they’re talking about, should not be subjected to 4 letter abuse. This isn’t what this forum is about.

    Just so you know.

EC expressions, in the EC vernacular,  EC hours of attendance, and to cap it all – a hissy fit, and all previous posts deleted.

    Hi all

his actions have betrayed him, and shown him up for what he was.

Initially I thought he was okay.  I will try to think the best of anyone.

Given enough rope he hung himself.  Prat.

In a rather unnessarily tall, dark and mysterious way Godolphin was essentially only making the point that you should bet to your odds/tissue and not the horse e.g. not ‘Sir Percy is going to win the Champion Stakes’ but ‘Sir Percy is a bet at 3/1’

And from what could be gleaned from his now vapourised posts his methods revolved around seeking ‘value’ amongst the front few in the RP forecast during the live market fluctuations.

So not exactly earth-shattering stuff but a lot of common sense nonetheless…’between the lines’

I wouldn’t expect anyone to reveal the mechanics behind their methods on an open forum but neither should they brag about being a winner if they don’t.
