    Retired unsound.
He’s “clear winded” according the marketing blurb so…yay? Pity his legs fell apart not even halfway into his 3yo season.
    Should’ve been gelded.

Shades of “no foot no hoss” Caravaggio, who is the same age as Blue Point and retired at 3 having never won an all aged G1, unlike Blue Point who memorably won two in a week aged 5 and retired sound.
I know which one I’d rather put on a mare.

Re: LBB, that’s the norm for this sire line. If they make it past May, they are doing well. As for Hurricane Lane, we’re going to need a few more bumpers added to the programme at this rate.

You’re welcome, Marlingford. I’ll stick up the results if nobody else does – maybe someone from the forum will be there.

Mr Fayez retired after his win at Brighton today. Only a class 6 handicap but his owner/trainer was obviously (and justifiably) thrilled. “He’s the first horse I bought in England when I came here, he cost me £2,000, and he’s gone and won two now. He’s been a legend. This is his last race, we’re going to retire him now and he’s going to stay as my hack pony at the yard.”

Thanks for that list Louise. Ex Willie horses make up a third of the field…no change there then! I didn’t think Douvan or Penhill were very sound racehorses so it’s nice to see that body and soul have held together long enough to be properly rideable. Also good to see some life left in old Gigginstown horses.

Thanks vf, The Storyteller was certainly a tough campaigner and I wish him a long and happy retirement.

His very eventful Grade 1 novice chase win at Punchestown is as astonishing watching it today as when it happened in 2018.

“Racehorse to Riding Horse Entries for Dublin:”

Sizing John won ridden by Kate Harrington and his old stablemate Woodland Opera was 2nd. Must be all that dressage training as Jessica Harrington was an ex Irish international eventer.
