I have got into reading blogs recently and these are two of the best I’ve come across so far ..
Cubone
&
Tooting
they are both excellent for different reasons and I think there should be a space for them here on the forum to link up to.
Does anyone else have racing/gambling blogs that they read and would care to share ?
May 23, 2007 at 11:38 #61140I’m thoroughly enjoying Cubone’s blog. Thanks for pointing me at that, Dave.
A minor quibble tho’, ……………………he asks at the end of his most recent posting: "What do you advise?".
My reply would be Use the bloody Spellchecker!"
It seems pedantic, but the mis-spellings spoil an otherwise excellent effort.
May 23, 2007 at 12:18 #61141Looks alright to me hoofhearted.
What do YOU advise?
May 23, 2007 at 12:20 #61142hoofhearted – I presumed you were referring to that specific sentence rather than the entire article. I get it now.
May 23, 2007 at 13:58 #61143I quite like the poor spelling and the archaic words .. I’ve been reading it on and off for a bit and I can’t wait for the next installment.
Tooting’s is good too .. it’s nice too see how a pro-gambler works and thinks, it make me realise how far away for being at that level that I am, thankfully.

I don’t!! Whats wrong with that sentence?!?!?
May 23, 2007 at 16:34 #61145Thanks for the kind words Dave!
Wasn’t there talk of a separate section here somewhere for bloggers to be listed?
May 23, 2007 at 16:42 #61146That’s why I started the thread Tooting .. just a subtle hint, maybe a bit too subtle.
Well done with the blog though and good luck for tonight ..
May 23, 2007 at 19:23 #61147Thanks for those links Dave.
I was hoping ol’Cubone would re-surface somewhere. Terrific tales from a life at the sharp end,

Originally I thought hoofhearted was referring to that specific sentence, which is perfectly OK, but he was actually referring to the rest of the article when talking about the spelling mistakes.
May 23, 2007 at 21:57 #61149Of course Andrew Mount’s Trend Horses blog used to be worth reading, but now it’s updated about as regularly as Barney Curley runs a horse on its merits…..;)
May 23, 2007 at 23:38 #61150
:old:
I’ve got a small bog
May 24, 2007 at 07:28 #61151Are you still burning peat for your hot water Gamble?
Regards – Matron

Saints alive so you are about Matre
As to your question
I have an old coal burning stove with a thin
visible metal chimney that resembles half
of a drainpipe trouser which is badly blackened with soot.
It’s make is Razeen which is nicely inscribed thereon.
Blew up about six months ago and I now resort to
Billy Conolly’s big slipper when the icicles are hanging
Oh, as for water – never touch the stuff
May 24, 2007 at 11:40 #61153You should have a blog gamble .. it would be the daddy of all blogs, maybe you have one already ?
May 24, 2007 at 13:18 #61154Shadow Leader, as explained in a previous blog I am simply too lazy to update it regularly. Plus, whose going to buy my autobiography and go see the movie if its all available for nowt?
May 24, 2007 at 20:02 #61155:old:
Very kind of you to say dave jay
that I would be a daddy.
A little nipper running about
would be just dandy.
As for writing
I have changed recently
as explained to me
by an imflamed ranting woman
on a day of dark rage.
I have become a serious,
boring person, careworn and no fun.
I’ve lost the old sparkle.
I admire the bloggers
and certainly I have read
pig and bone and been highly impressed.
But as for me in my internet dotage
I have become rather predictable and dull,
and full of worldly worries
and there is no blog that would house me
or put up with my tiring debilitaing thought noughts
