September 25, 2022 at 16:51 #1615895No I did it all by myself Nathan
It took a few minutes to download I think I lost patience last time.

September 25, 2022 at 17:05 #1615898“Good luck digging that Firm ground, Blackbeard!”
I’d take in the Prix de l’Abbaye on the way to sailing over to the states, in a drop in trip but easy gold for Blackbeard

I think he could improve lots as a 3 y/oBlackbeard to conquer the World

September 26, 2022 at 21:31 #1616034Such a handsome horse. As big mac used to say go with what you see and to me blackbeard settles well, has a high cruising speed and can put in a very quick furlong to win races. Every chance he will get the mile as he matures. All depends on little big bear of course. And auguste rodin too. Agree re firmish ground but so was no ney never.
September 26, 2022 at 22:31 #1616035You could be right Mickey, I hope so
My take is he has already matured in terms of size and ability, No Never Never types look quite forward at 2 and Aidan has already run him 8 times. Those that are smaller with room to grow, haven’t learnt to settle and are unexposed could catch up and pass him next year.
If he cuts out the antics it’s possible he could improve.Blackbeard to conquer the World
September 26, 2022 at 22:45 #1616037If he cuts out the antics, he may well revert to mediocrity. It’s part of his character and doesn’t seem to affect his performance on the track. We won’t know if he stays a mile (AOB seems to doubt it) or if he will even train on next year but it won’t be his quirks that prevent either.
September 26, 2022 at 23:12 #1616038I agree.
All his quirks are pre-race – nothing settled better in the Middle Park and nothing picked up better at the business end.

September 27, 2022 at 10:50 #1616056I’m thinking if he goes to America that will possibly be it
if he stays at home we may see him next yearYou guys are right about the quirks not affecting him
I can’t remember much talk about him playing up before the Coventry where he was potentially either below form or improved a lot sinceBlackbeard to conquer the World
