I met my dear wife, Daphne, back in 1958 when we were both 15 and now at 75 we are still together having been married for 55 years.
During those years I have taken more insults from her than you can ever dream up, yet we still remain good friends just as I am with your good self. Mind you, you have a much greater sense of humour which I truly love.

June 23, 2018 at 10:05 #1358184Many a wise sage has told me time and time again not to get involved with staking plans Nathan. Are they right or wrong is only for you to decide.
NATALIE’S JOY on the face of things looks to be a banker and we do know what has happened to some of them this week at Royal Ascot but it keeps cropping up this morning with system after system and like the other wise sage has told me only bet the system horse once but today is another rule I have broken.
It perhaps could be doubled with another market mover ISLANDS OF LIFE 6.45 Haydock from the Haggas stable who so enjoys his tips to northern venues. All the boxes have big bold ticks for them both.
I only post them because you have put me in a happy place this morning but it may not be so happy by 6.50 this evening.
I don’t do footie at any time and perhaps I should not do the horses either!

June 23, 2018 at 12:47 #1358241You take it in the good spirit it was meant Bill
I like Staking systems personally, not that this thread had much of one
I think a sensible staking plan that has a stop limit is fine
Like you say it’s up to the individual what suits them, I don’t like the big jumps.
The ones I like is like the one I started and finished on my football thread for Penalty’s at this years World Cup and only stopping as the odds for such things were reduced very quickly. It’s the third post down

June 24, 2018 at 18:48 #1358461Nathan, oh dear, oh dear. That is a perfect example of why I cannot get to grips with staking plans.
Maths has always been a missing link within my education but I did not understand a word.
Level stakes I understand.
A percentage of a given bank, I also understand.
Both make a lot of sense to me.
Bet to win up to a price.
Bet each way beyond a given price.
Race selection such as class and number of runners is more of a method/strategy but combined with the above staking is perhaps why I am not a very rich man.
Somewhere above is my comfort zone.

June 24, 2018 at 21:13 #1358473Haha Bill, I’m not very good at explaining things and that table does look a bit foreign
It’s a run of 11 bets with staking at a minimum price required to get a profit on a winnerGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
