Have no worries regarding your ability to explain things Nathan I have an inability to understand such complicated matters and the older I get the harder the harder it becomes.

I sometimes refer to an old friend of this place, Formath, who is even older than myself but is quite the figure genius, although I will most certainly pass on this one.

    Oi! It’s me.

    Now then Nathan, pay attention.

How would you play these 3 which have outstanding chances of getting into the winners enclosure.

    MONBEG LEGEND 2.50 Worcester 11/10 ………………………. One down, 2nd = LOST!
    OKOOL 4.40 Salisbury 6/4 …………………………………….. BOOM! 1st Winner
    CRYSTAL DEAUVILLE 8.50 Bath 11/8

Now, listen up, I don’t want any of your complicated plans that even Prof. Stephen Hawking would not understand.
If I am able to post another batch of tomorrow they are all most likely to be short priced favourites with obvious winning prospects. 50/1 good things do not rate highly with me, I want winners.

    B-) B-) B-)

At those odds Bill, it’s hard to do a staking plan without having to jump up early to catch up any losses
So you could either do rolling doubles, maybe half-ing stakes for those. I know you wouldn’t want the stakes jumping and going out of hand.
Maybe for singles 1pt 1pt 2pt stop at a winner or return to start of sequence after 3 losses. What anyone with a staking plan should be doing although I don’t follow my own common sense is record the results of the staking system and compare it to that of levels.

I am pleased you were paying attention Nathan and made a quick response and so I shan’t put you on detention or special duties.

Seriously I used to love S.A.W. So easy and much about guaranteed small but healthy profits and only wish on-line layers would find a way to accept such bets today. The last time I placed such a bet at the most local of my Ladbrokes office I had to explain to the counter clerk what it was and how it worked.

Also, as I understand they High St. chains are very selective regarding BOG and this does make the Billy Goat GRUMPY. An avid High St. player did tell me he doges across the road from Fred to Laddies in ever decreasing cirles trying to get BOG and depends a) on selected races or b) between certain times, a bit like a Happy Hour. I can’t be bothered, the “Zimmer” will break down.

Rolling Doubles that is a possibility. That always was a favourite of MrE (MERDS as I recall), with 3 selections would I be correct: –
    A+B, A+C, B+C

This is an idea which came to me born from something I play with the greyhounds and although I have no idea how it will play out although the concept suggests winners will be found on a regular basis and I will wait a see the results today which if OK I will post again and perhaps they will indicate a pathway to riches.

    Thursday June 28

I felt like a man on the window ledge with only just the one winner from 3 selections and confess to expect much better.

Determined to do better I have trawled through the race cards this morning since sunrise searching for winners in order to regain some self respect.

The initial system search covered a dozen races but only two provided the next tick in the box I needed to winkle some extra allowance from my pocket money.

GAELIC WIZARD 6.00 Hamilton boosted by Ladbrokes from 9/4 to 23/10 (Such generosity astounds me!) . . BOOM! Won 9/4
    MUTABAAHY 8.20 Leicester @ 5/2 betfair …………. 3rd

Plus a little double but not being known for risk taking I have taken each way. Small profit but + 12% ROI

    Friday June 29

Just two selections made the betting options easy yesterday (and a little profit) but today there are 3 which leaves me with a dilemma, to stake as usual but covering all angles eats into my pocket money or reduce the stakes when the returns become small, even by my standards.

So, I will play safe with single bets and hope I don’t regret it later.

    Doncaster
2.00 WIND in my FACE @ 7/2 each way

    Yarmouth
    2.10 WIFF WAFF @ 7/4
    3.40 BROKEN FORCE @ 15/8

You don’t half moan a lot you old grumpy goat

Here’s a winner that will cheer you up

    4.10 Windsor
    Oh this is Us 11/8

Short price but the only way it can’t win is if something else does…. :good:

I asked my doctor for some “happy pills” but he said my behaviour is quite normal for my age and refused.
