Going back a bit here, but in 1993 Creche drifted from 6/4(I think) to 11/1 and made all.
Anything to rival that shocking winning drift?

March 1, 2017 at 21:58 #1289500Wasn’t that a Kicking King type deal though?

March 2, 2017 at 11:11 #1289541I’ve a vague memory of one about 4-5 years ago…someone I know backed it at 7/2 I think and it won at 25’s and he wasn’t on b.o.g either! Something in the back of my mind saying it was trained by Brian Ellison…could be wrong though?
March 2, 2017 at 12:22 #1289548A horse called Velator was having his first start over 3 miles and I backed it at 5/2 in shop.
Ended up winning at 10/1.

Poor ol’ Velator, I think he was the most disinterested horse I’ve ever seen walking around a pre-parade or paddock.
March 3, 2017 at 22:12 #1289770Too long ago for me to verify any details but remember a horse called Stanstead or Stansted drifting from warm favoritism to 25-1 in quick time and winning.

Never saw him parading. Hope he’s okay, hasn’t raced since tailed off.
Shocked he’s only 9!
