Sorry guys no lockdown today
Sage were told to go away
Johnson could not get his way. But fear not the gov will lock you all away as soon as it can
Please post all your fears here
At least then we can go and have some fun
Cmon. Get your moaning pants on
December 20, 2021 at 18:16 #1573489I wonder if the Spectator scoop about Sage intentionally only modelling worse case scenarios might have caused some of the Cabinet to grow a spine and stand up to Whitty and Vallance’s scaremongering?
December 20, 2021 at 19:56 #1573513Yes. Allied with the latest party photos
On that day a guy was arrested by five coppers for having a picnic in hyde park
These cuntopias have no concept at the backlash to johnson
He is toast
He dare not move. Besides people wont go with bim any longer
Countless people died alone. Relatives frozen out
My best buddy too. And these bastards laughed at us
Why ???
1. They didnt believe any of the covid stuff
2. They knew restrictions did not apply to them
December 20, 2021 at 20:27 #1573516When did telling people what could happen become “scaremongering”?
Value Is EverythingDecember 20, 2021 at 20:58 #1573519Sorry about your mate, Ricky. Lost my Aunt too during lockdown. Couldn’t go to funeral so saw it via zoom which wasn’t the same. Understand about your anger although you probably don’t want my sympathy. Lockdown also meant I couldn’t heal my feelings after losing mum. She went before covid but lockdown prevented going on holiday to heal the mental scars.
Tank is right about other factors of covid, those who’s operations been delayed because hospitals overflowing with covid patients. Not to mention the abuse young Arthur had to suffer which led to him losing his life. To be honest we knew this was always possible it’s just young Arthur give it a human face.
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.December 20, 2021 at 21:46 #1573528“When did telling people what could happen become “scaremongering”?”
Because they are only presenting extreme, worst case scenarios. It is just as plausible that the outcome will be nowhere near as bad. For example, I simply do not believe the suggestion that omicron could kill 6,000 people a day. That is six times more than the peak last January, when most of the population was unvaccinated. Sage loses all credibility when it presents such alarmist figures, which look like it is trying to bounce the government into a lockdown.
December 20, 2021 at 22:01 #1573531Cork is spot on with both posts
Sage have been a disgrace but hmg is now talking to other advisors it would appear. And a good thing too
December 20, 2021 at 22:40 #1573537Thank you Rummy. I cant tell you how upset this latest photo caused me
I literally had to stop myself from battering the hospital staff at that time
No 10 simply did not follow rules at any time
Meanwhile we idiots suffered the loss of loved ones who died alone
I hope they all rot in hell for it

Good post that, Rummy. Hope we can all be buddies again now – or at least untill the results of the easily manufactured votes come out

December 20, 2021 at 23:37 #1573545What I don’t understand is that Ricky and I both loathe Johnson and his government/dictatorship but we have totally opposing views of how to manage the pandemic ie he thinks they’ve done too much and I think they haven’t done enough. Which shows how topsy turvy everything is these days.

The Government have done a lousy job in general, but a great job in dividing the people
December 21, 2021 at 00:26 #1573555Well, that’s one thing we can agree on. Divide and rule.

December 21, 2021 at 07:53 #1573583Sorry to hear about your mate Ricky. Yet another example here:
On the left is the last photo I have of my mum alive in May 2020. Living alone with serious illness, she faced the pandemic with stoicism.
We went for a walk around her local park. When she suggested sitting 2m apart in her garden, I said: better not, it’s against the rules. pic.twitter.com/6S0sEzYnRR— Stephen Laughton (@StevoLaughton) December 19, 2021
There are tens of thousands more no doubt.
Every single Tory MP condones this as long as they remain Tory. Anyone who donates so much as a penny to them condones this. Anyone who votes for them after this condones it. We can only hope that they have pushed their luck too far this time after everything they seem to get away with.
December 21, 2021 at 08:24 #1573585It is clear from their private conduct that no world leaders believe Covid is the threat they are telling us it is. Exactly the same behaviour could be seen at the G7 in Cornwall last summer. Masks and social distancing in front of the cameras, none at all when they thought the cameras were not looking.

Though usually a consensus hence election-winning advantage, there has never been the worst time to be a one nation Conservative called Boris.
The right-wing libertarians in your Party think you’ve turned into Stalin whereas the centre left see you even more for the lazy, do nothing unless forced, self-centred buffoon you are.
