Er, very soon Prufrock. It’s just that I can’t find them at the moment, on account of being a computer near-illiterate. Cormack’s going to e mail them to me.
Colossal misnomer by the way. I hope no-one thinks I think I’m a celebrity. You have to be on telly anyway don’t you?

I’d say everyone is quaking in their boots Barney [ not anymore Barney, times are changing ], your fire was lit a long time ago, it was smoldering, just needed a little oxygen.
But your rants are so passe, I suppose you built yourself up a reputation to protect, so you better keep up appearances. Its just a pity they couldn’t ban you for life, as nobody will miss you.
My feeling Madman is that your ranting a bit yourself there and one sided in your criticism of Barney Curley. I think you have to at least bear in mind the times that Curley and his ilk lived through and in particular how Betfair has changed our attitude to things that were once seen as mere oneupmanship. Theres no doubt about it but we wouldnt really be even discussing Curley here but for the fact that he believes in his own honour and moral code and he is extreme about defending it.
Zorro. Your too modest and polite. Too much time spent with those Japanese folk. We need to rebrand you as a British Bulldog type.

I know you’re wrong there, Madman. He risks his life regularly to go and help Aids orphans in Africa. Maybe it’s largely to try and ingratiate himself before he dies with the god he believes in, but if you’d seen the work he does there you would never accuse him of uncomplicated selfishness.
May 31, 2007 at 10:30 #59159I’m bored of your rantings Madman.. Give it a rest, most of your time on here is spent moaning, which is fine every sof often but after a while is tiresome. Perhaps you should concentrate on winning money or further understanding the rich tapestry of racing and you may appreciate it more..

Thats what a forums for, a divergence of opinions. If you don’t agree what I have to say, then reply in kind to the topic in question. Instead of coming with Smart Alec put me downs which have nothing to do with the original thread.
Oink !

June 1, 2007 at 17:30 #59174I think people have tried MM, but most have given up….
June 2, 2007 at 11:46 #59176I think there is a big difference between the odd indiscretion displayed by most trainers, and sticking two fingers up at the authorities on a weekly basis.
I won’t take sides, but I hate it whenever I feel I didn’t get a fair shake of the dice.
It happens too often, whether it is when a horse gets it’s SP odds shaved between the flags or the horse never fairly competed. The same goes for when a horse finds two stone on it’s last five outings. All such incidences smells bad to me.
Curley may be the flag bearer for the ‘it’s bent’ brigade, but he’ not the only one. Let’s remember that. And it smells all the more bad when it is predicted in the market before the race.
