moehat. Sportinglife recently altered their login procedures giving 3 ways to login. I just stick to my original Sportinglife login, though you can use a Skybet account as they are all under the same banner, with Timeform too.
December 23, 2025 at 17:31 #1748350Thanks. They don’t seem to recognise my original log in so I need to tweak it all a bit.
December 23, 2025 at 17:38 #1748352Moehat, I have the same problems with all log in methods with Sporting Life.
As for Ambient, I dont see him making it as a good hurdler, would not be surprised to see him chasing next season. Or a return to the flat for some staying handicaps.
January 26, 2026 at 10:19 #1751974Declared to run today at Plumpton. A sharp track may play to his strengths but I am not sure the uphill finish will.
January 26, 2026 at 11:34 #1751982I read he was going to race Plumpton, then go back to a flat campaign for Royal Ascot

January 26, 2026 at 13:27 #1751996Gelding him must have been a tough decision
January 26, 2026 at 13:56 #1752004That’s an obvious end to his hurdling career, unless they try him on really fast spring ground.
January 26, 2026 at 14:01 #1752005Agree ERL. There doesn’t look much point in persisting. He won’t settle and doesn’t look like he is enjoying it.
I like Plumpton but there is something a bit sad about seeing a horse which finished second in the Derby trailing in well beaten at the venue.
January 26, 2026 at 14:29 #1752020I think he settled better after a couple of hurdles but he doesn’t have the puff for it.
The more I know the less I understand.
January 26, 2026 at 15:32 #1752068Similar to how his flat career regressed in that until he consents to settle (highly unlikely given he seems to have learned nothing to date) he will ultimatley continue to fold at the business end of a race.
Will they have the stones to send him chasing at some point because he is fast running out of options as a racehorse and he doesn’t seem to be the type to go through ROR to do some other form of equine discipline like dressage/showjumping/cross country and not exactly the sort you would want to use as a hack either.
