Course notes:
REACH THE BEACH came into this 1-18, but she had run well here before and utilised the same forcing tactics that proved so successful at Ffos Las in August to maximum effect. She looked vulnerable starting up the home straight, but pulled out plenty more and there should be other pay days back here.
Royal Marskell, who goes well here and was back on his last winning mark, moved nicely off the pace and looked the likely winner when produced with his effortafter turning in, but he was up against a mare who simply refused to be denied and he could never get to her.
