Reminder for transfers to be in by 9pm tomorrow, Friday 16/12/16.
There are 2 bonus races on Saturday, The JLT Long Walk Hurdle and the
Wessex Youth Trust Handicap Hurdle (listed as the Ladbroke Hurdle Hurdle)
both at AscotNo change at the top of the league, although the gap has narrowed. I’ll
post the league standings after racing finishes tomorrow in case any
stables have runners.Carl Torr (CLT Racing) stays out in front, but his lead has been cut to only
15 PTS with Ian Tidmarsh (Moet and Pizza darlings) just behind and Andrew Sutherland
(Teaformee) holding his position in 3rd. Well done Phil Clarke (Sad Ken Stables)
hitting the 500 PTS mark in 4th place

I’ve got more riding on him than any other horse at the moment ante post wise, I’m hoping
he’s as good as I think he is, he hasn’t let me down yet. I suppose I’ve got a big soft spot
for him too, it was my first visit to Gold Cup day last year, and he was my biggest winner
at 16/1 on the day. I’m booked up to return next year too on Gold Cup day, I’m hoping to
make it an annual pilgrimage south each year.Yep, stable change as usual next week, you don’t want to miss that one Jac, with 5 bonus races
in the week. Get them right……and you’ll rocket up the league

Looks like we both could have runners in 3 of the 5 bonus races Jac, both of us with
good shouts in at least 2 of them. I’m taking it that you have used your Elite Transfer
for this month, if not you might be able to cover all 5. If you have used it, like me you
will need to settle for 4 at best, and that’s if those currently in our stable make the
final decs. I doubt if many, or any, will land all 5 so a couple would probably make a

I have Thistlecrack in the King George, Altior in the Desert Orchid, Native River and Vyta Du Roc in the Welsh National, Valseur Lido and Djakadam in the Lexus, Nichols Canyon in the Ryanair.

I’d say you’re very likely ahead of the pack with that team Mark, well done
and good luckNot as good as Mark’s choices but also have Altior in the Desert Orchid, Yanworth my star horse in the Christmas Hurdle and two chances in the Lexus with Djakadam and More Of That at a massive 50/1 have to have an each way on that one…good luck everyone and Happy Christmas Graham..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Good luck with them Jac, you’re in with a good chance with Yanworth in one of the bonus races,
with your star on him you could continue your recent rise up the table. I have managed to get
4 of the bonus races covered, Thistlecrack with my star on him, Djakadam and I had Ch’tibello
in my stable for a while, not just picked for the Christmas Hurdle. I don’t think he’s the
likeliest winner in that one, but you never know, so I was left with the predicament of either
adding Yanworth or choosing one of the other 2 bonus races…..I went for Nichols Canyon. I
could have Douvan, Un De Sceaux and Garde La Victoire running too, so if all went well I could
have a good week. Fingers crossed we pick up some decent points. Good luck to you Jac and I hope
that you, and all TRFers, have a cracking ChristmasSorry I’m a bit late adding the update on the league, late Christmas shopping, followed
by a hairy drive over the Rest And Be Thankful (the A83 to those who don’t recognise that
description) I wasn’t risking the ferry to Dunoon with that bloody storm. Having a family

Bah HumbugLOL Graham..I did the opposite and jumped in too early believing Bristol De Mai would run on New Years Day I even gave him my star only to find he was a non runner
Still I think I’ll let him hang around for a while in the stable in the hope he’ll get a run before Cheltenham. Looks like we have the chance to transfer our Elite horse this week. Wish we had 3 or 4 more to choose from as so far just a few have run.
