According to their site http://wgntv.com/live/ will be showing a live stream from Arlington between 5-6pm Chicago time tonight (11-midnight) Uk time. Also believe you can watch it here http://espn.go.com/horse-racing/twinspires?wer but are limited to 30 mins per day so be careful.
August 17, 2013 at 21:49 #448663Thanks Ken. I hear on the grapevine that my old pal Dandino done connections proud.

Thanks Ken. I hear on the grapevine that my old pal Dandino done connections proud.
Yep, although he won’t find too many other 1 11/16 mile races here.
August 17, 2013 at 22:10 #448667^^He was made to work for it, but really knuckled down by the sound of it

I’ve been listening to the races on horseracing radio.net and actually logged on to paste the link that Ken kindly posted.

Nope, merely juiced-up on lasix

Nice effort from Gifted Girl – it wouldn’t surprise me if an American owner picked her up after that. Greater chance for success Stateside than Europe and clearly enjoyed the style of racing and the addition of lasix.
I don’t think Duntle was on lasix and didn’t appear to stay the trip, anyway.
I’ve backed both winners (see my post in Big Race section)…just wish I put Admiral Kitten in my trixie and not Jack Milton!
There’s nothing quite like patting yourself on the back
August 17, 2013 at 22:38 #448671This broadcast is so very Chicago, I love it.
(WGN is the only local network TV station in the US to be distributed nationally via cable and satellite)

I second that. Enjoying the show…and who is Alyssa Ali? More of her, please
August 17, 2013 at 22:53 #448674The Apache is one game horse
August 17, 2013 at 23:02 #448675WTF was Ryan Moore doing?!!
Hunter’s Light was travelling better than anything else turning in and Moore created a series of problems for himself…mind-boggling

The Apache showed tremendous courage and I hope he keeps the race, but Soumillon had his whip in the wrong hand and, like Moore, was a victim of his own incompetence.
August 17, 2013 at 23:05 #448676The Apache got disqualified for really lugging out in the stretch and impeding Real Solution. Real Solution gets the win, very excited reaction from Ken Ramsey who gets his 3rd G1 win of the day.
All 3 G1 winners by his stallion Kitten’s Joy. With two more runners in the G1 Del Mar Oaks this evening.
Yeah, that stud fee is going up.August 17, 2013 at 23:09 #448677The decision to reverse placings came really quickly.

It was a pretty clear-cut case of impeding another horse.

Sadly, I agree with the decision.
Soumillon had his whip in the wrong hand and was responsible for the reversal. How can a senior, well travelled jockey make such a basic error? A left-handed oval track and he decides to carry the whip in his left hand on the inside??
Moore didn’t cover himself in glory aboard Dandino and nearly cost Hunter’s Light his life. Very dangerous riding from one of our best and he managed to create trouble from a perfect position in both races.
August 17, 2013 at 23:47 #448682Btw, any news on Indy Point? I notice he didn’t corner well on the first bend and was eventually pulled-up by Gary Stevens coming round the final bend. He also looked uncomfortable going down the backstretch.
Hope he’s ok – so much potential.

He’s okay, just wasn’t traveling well and was eased. Walked back to the barn.

Exactly.
Is the Breeders Cup Lasix free this year?
