What an unflappable horse Edwardstone is.
Has all of what’s good about a horse – can imagine Timeform get the old “game, genuine and consistent; credit to his trainer” out for him.EDIT missed out “fluent jumper”.
Value Is EverythingMarch 15, 2022 at 14:39 #1587249Good to see Alan King with a Cheltenham winner.
Unlike some years he came into Cheltenham this year in very good form.
This his 5th winner in his last 10 runners.Value Is EverythingMarch 15, 2022 at 14:44 #1587253Pleased the horse silenced his doubters. So many people in preview shows were saying they did not fancy him and even putting him up as lay of the week.
I doubt they would have done if he was trained by one of the Big 4. He would have been a 5/4 chance if he was in one of those yards.
March 15, 2022 at 17:20 #1587332I played the win and had the 2nd e.w so Arkle was nice to me for a change , cannon did everything right and the horse also did well to sidestep the faller , it’s a shame he going to be around the same time as Shiskin , proper straight forward pro but Shiskin will eat him up
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
