    What an unflappable horse Edwardstone is.
    Has all of what’s good about a horse – can imagine Timeform get the old “game, genuine and consistent; credit to his trainer” out for him.

    EDIT missed out “fluent jumper”.

    Good to see Alan King with a Cheltenham winner.
    Unlike some years he came into Cheltenham this year in very good form.
    This his 5th winner in his last 10 runners.

    Pleased the horse silenced his doubters. So many people in preview shows were saying they did not fancy him and even putting him up as lay of the week.

    I doubt they would have done if he was trained by one of the Big 4. He would have been a 5/4 chance if he was in one of those yards.

    I played the win and had the 2nd e.w so Arkle was nice to me for a change , cannon did everything right and the horse also did well to sidestep the faller , it’s a shame he going to be around the same time as Shiskin , proper straight forward pro but Shiskin will eat him up

    Wd glad/winners he was excellent, easily the best in the race (i had a decent sized position laying him) i knew i was done for 3 out
