Why isn’t Edwardstone shorter , this is a right puzzler of a race , Edward has beaten and scared away most of the UK horses and Blue Lord just isn’t my eyes a top class 2 miler , I’ll prob play coeur sublime e.w as the form behind ferny is as strong as most of the Irish form , I’ll also go Gabynako e.w with the tongue tie on , I’ll forgive the run on heavy plus after last year there due a change of luck , if Edwardstone drifts further then I may have to play

    “Why isn’t Edwardstone shorter.”

Because when it gets to Cheltenham being ‘best of British’ don’t necessarily mean best in the race.

True Mike but he,s got the most solid form , it may well be the trainers isn’t the sexiest either with a poor recent record , if he was hendersons then he,d be shorter

A real puzzler of a race though gone for edwardstone as he looks the most solid to Mr. The first two races will give us a wee clue to British and Irish form. If gb don’t win this then I’d lump on Elliott horses.

    RIVEIERE D’ETEL
    (Win)
gets such a weight pull here I’d expect Jack Kennedy to bide his time here until the last moment to play his hand.
    EDWARSTONE
    (Win)
may well be clear by then, while GABYNAKO has each way claims for Gavin Cromwell.

I’ve got Edwardstone and Riviere D’etel in doubles with Constitution Hill and I’ll play the forecast. Saint Sam could be the fly in the ointment, however I don’t want to go too big in this.

Cheers, guys. Excellent ride by Tom Cannon and excellent footwork from the horse to sidestep Brave Seasca.

As I was saying to Ruby yesterday, that’s my biggest winner of the week (and the season), so I’m relieved it’s over.

I’ll buy you all a virtual drink. 🍻

His jumping won it for him

Blue lord and riviere detel both made plenty of errors

Gavin Cromwell again showing how shrewd he is, or how good the carrots he uses before Cheltenham are getting gabynako to finish second
