They want attention and this is the biggest audience they’d get.

Let the horses trample them, I say.

As Marlingford says, Aintree is a huge site. It needs as many police there as possible.

Which makes me wonder if in the current climate, was it sensible for Everton to play at home today? That must have required a large police presence.

I hope if there’s trouble in the race with protesters and the authorities try and stop it, jockeys continue and finish the race.

Surely a protester would see the riderless horses running and jumping on happy as can be and reconsider your claim that the horses are forced to do this?

I think it’s either Hill Sixteen or Galvin who died at the first fence.

Was on the winner but can’t say I really enjoyed watching that. Screens up at the first and The Chair. Cape Gentleman didn’t look good when he pulled up either.

    I said earlier:
So, if u could name one horse you havent bet on (or likely to), which you think you might regret NOT punting on in today’s GN, which horse would that be?

    Mine is Corach Rambler.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😄

Once again confirming that me betting on a horse adds 10lbs to their handicap weight.

I hope all the horse are OK.

I had the 1-2-3 in my shortlist of six. But I can now safely after time and say I had 80/1 against Vanillier placed the day before he ran in the Bobbyjo. My wallet would have preferred to see him win but delighted for Lucinda Russell and her team. Corach Rambler is one of those charismatic horses that has made a real connection with the public.

Well done every on, a super performance from the winner, gawking at the top of the stands, the sky…but he kept going.

I agree with Marlingford though, that first fence fall made the race a bit flat.

So pleased for connections. Hope he’ll be paraded at Kelso on Monday! But I didn’t enjoy the race. I don’t think I’ll be rewatching it.I’m sure the protests had a negative effect on the horses.
