GE stated last night that MOL wants Champagne Classic in this and not the NH Chase, so this is looking more likely at this stage.
March 5, 2019 at 11:18 #1399793Has every right to be in this, really.
March 5, 2019 at 11:29 #1399795Surprised you’ve said that Mark. I thought he looked too slow for 20/1 shot Chris’ Dream LTO and they have the 5/2 favourite in DW.
He’s all over a NH Chase horse to me and GE said the same last night.
March 5, 2019 at 13:14 #1399805GE said he had no chance in this if he runs…obviously he will have, but clear he thinks DW is a fair bit ahead.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!March 6, 2019 at 13:14 #1399903Third race I’ve bet Champagne Classic in FFS. 20’s EW NRMB
March 6, 2019 at 13:25 #1399905That is some overweight Bobby ! You and I on the same horse lol
March 6, 2019 at 20:13 #1399962Too much overweight Raymo lol, he’s out of Festival.
March 6, 2019 at 21:24 #1399977I know it’s to be expected in the couple of weeks before the festival but they’re going down like ninepins.
March 7, 2019 at 07:50 #1400031VTC – Where did you hear that about Champagne Classic? I can’t find it. Thanks.
March 7, 2019 at 10:05 #1400039Personally don’t like betting horses each way when they are only really running for a place. It would be a miracle if one of the front 3 don’t win this. So to me an each way bet in this race doesn’t make sense. Better off betting something to be placed if you think it might run into a place. Same goes for the champion chase what’s the point in betting each way when you cant win. Just do it to be placed
March 7, 2019 at 10:30 #1400041CNC – trainer said it at the Betfair preview. They took a pile of horses to Navan for a workout and it sounds like he tied up a bit or pulled a muscle something, don’t know if it was straight away or the next morning.
March 11, 2019 at 09:35 #1400641If Betfair is anything to go by then Santini is now a certain runner for the RSA. Official announcement due this morning.
March 11, 2019 at 17:34 #1400712Glad to see Drovers Lane declared. Wind surgery since last time (assume soft palate as they wouldn’t have had time for anything else) explains missing the Reynoldstown. Decent pilot in the shape of Sean Bowen on board too.
March 11, 2019 at 20:18 #1400741NOW MCGINTY 33/1 is a huge price in my humble opinion !!
Solid jumper without being flash , stays well and further probably and if he can stay with them coming down the hill will be mowing them down in the straight!!
March 12, 2019 at 20:50 #1401549Elliot’s horses running terribly today has me a little worried about delta work, hopefully it was just a blip
March 12, 2019 at 21:01 #1401554With both Elliot’s and Tizzard’s seemingly not performing (although both had one place today) I’ve gone for Topofthegame 4/1 and Santini 7/2 (I’d rate them both as fair 11/4 shots, shade of odds-on the two combined and able to get 11/8) with a saver on the Henderson second string On The Blind Side 13/1. If anything was wrong with Santini I feel sure it would manifest itself on betfair and instead he’s being backed at the moment.
Value Is EverythingMarch 12, 2019 at 22:15 #1401572When the ground is this bad you can throw the form book out of the window for this race. The 20/1 shots and higher have just as much chance, Drovers Lane looks worth a bet.
