Progressed into a tidy animal Treasury Notes. His running style suggests a step up could be fruitful.
He’s one of 5 that I like for this but have chosen him alone through loyalty. This is the sort of race where you get excited to even hear your selections name being mentioned in running.
For example “Treasury Notes completely blows the start”. At least he got a mention.
September 24, 2016 at 15:57 #1264652I’ve only got American Artist running in this, so I’m having a bit of the 50/1 e/w that’s
on offer for Ode To Evening with Bet365. Worth a punt I reckon.September 24, 2016 at 16:53 #1264657129
I’m a bit hesitant, having got this badly wrong last year, but have had a go on Spark Plug, who ran well last week at York, and a couple of other runs have shown me enough to suggest that he’s over his fall last season at Ascot. 33’s with 5 places is too good to refuse.
That’s a fantastic early pick at 33/1 Bobby (returned 12/1). You’re having some time of it of late,
I wonder if you still have your voice after that finishSeptember 24, 2016 at 17:54 #1264670Take a bow Venture, what an early bird that is, just great tipping
September 24, 2016 at 18:01 #1264671Top stuff again Venture, first in the stalls and first past the post
September 25, 2016 at 11:24 #1264733Great tipping once again VTC.
September 25, 2016 at 13:18 #1264744Well done Bob
And i do wish VERY TALENTED was on other side i do grrrrrrrrrr
September 25, 2016 at 14:42 #1264753I don’t think Very Talented was unlucky.
Swings and roundabouts. The two bridle horses were lucky to have Ode To Evening to lead them. Once the pace collapsed neither of them got home.
If there was an unlucky horse it was GM Hopkins. On a shocking day for punters it was pretty typical that a plunge horse would be the one slowly away. He lost 4-5 lengths out of stalls and Moore just looked after him. Even then he still ran into traffic before finishing twelfth. Not hard to believe he wouldn’t have finished at least in the first six.
September 25, 2016 at 17:52 #1264780Hey, Bobby! Just catching up: great work. If there’s a place left on the ITV team for a top notch previewer, you’re the man
September 26, 2016 at 11:45 #1264839Bobby Once again you da man!!! Bloody well done with the price as well!!
I must admit because only one of mine turned up in the end and I was at the course and saw the Morning Line I did back the winner myself at 12/1 but didn’t have the foresight you had!!
Once again well done
September 26, 2016 at 12:32 #1264848Well done Bobby lovely to see Spark Plug back in the winners enclosure after that awful fall in the Hunt Cup 2015.
They didn’t bring him into the paddock until most of the horses had gone to post so he didn’t have time to boil over. You must be well set up for making a clean sweep of all the competitons on this Forum, it’s a great feeling when it all comes right, keep going and good luck for the jumps season ahead, I’ll be cheering you on ..Jac
