    Watching this race on silent, wtf just happened? the horse was favourite and leading and just ran off course on its own? Could Daryl Jacob not steer it or something? Very odd

    I think (pretty sure) the horse decided to go his own way
    which is why I’m lenient on jockeys when the horse goes off in another direction at a finish and get a load of abuse

    Two other horses went west before Daryl Jacob’s horse.
    Maybe they were spooked by a bird or a drone or something…..

    Cheers for the info lads, yeah the whole thing seemed rather odd, after seeing a replay the horse definitely had its own ideas so can’t blame Daryl Jacob
