It was his only quote ^^ didn’t say anything else
March 31, 2016 at 17:48 #1240465Thanks Bobby, I haven’t seen anything regarding this and it seems odd that in the space of less than a week that the trainer has had a change of heart.
I actually saw her tipped up on the Ladbrokes website very recently where they were only going 20/1 on her and there has been no drift on the betting sites yet.
Just have to wait for more information I suppose.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
April 2, 2016 at 22:20 #1240709I checked the entries for the Prix Imprudence and Trixia isn’t in the field.
Not sure why they went from running to not running in the space of less than a week and can only hope it’s not an injury or other setback.
I felt sure she would have taken the beating there and been right in the Guineas mix but that’s the gamble.
In the Prix Djebel Ribchester may clash with Vedevani from the Royer-Dupre stable. Both are in the 2000 Guineas but are 40/1 shots.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

A competitive renewal and it should be informative.
First Victory has been nibbled for both the Guineas and The Oaks in recent days. She is unbeaten and 2/2 at Newmarket. I am not a Godolphin fan myself and I am a bit surprised to see a tongue tie fitted for this race, normally that is a tool indicative of a problem.
Good shows from Nathra and Coolmore would obviously boost the form of Minding who easily beat both horses last year.
Alice Springs runs today and also gives the possibility of enhancing the Moyglare winner’s form. I took her at 11/8 and she is currently 10/11 with How High The Moon now out.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
April 10, 2016 at 16:04 #1241977I like to see FIRST VICTORY run well she my ew bet in 1000 guineas race when i look at it last month even though i still think MINDING win it
April 10, 2016 at 16:37 #1241981Alice Springs either hasn’t trained on or left her ability back at the Breeder’s Cup.
She never seemed to actually be put into the race today and when asked to close she had no chance from that far back.
Any thought of running in the 1000 Guineas must be long gone. She couldn’t even be used as a pacemaker on today’s evidence, seemingly void of the pace required.
I hope Trixia runs in the 1000 Guineas, as I feel she has a massive chance but I can’t see it. Alain De Royer Dupre seems behind schedule, with Karaktar a no-show favourite for him today at Chantilly.
It makes you wonder about the wisdom of sending a horse to a trainer who seems incapable of getting her ready for the 1000 Guineas, when the original trainer handled her faultlessly last year.
It seems to me that Minding or Lumiere will win this race.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

I’ve taken the 7/2 First Victory.
If Only Mine doesn’t take her on tomorrow could get a soft lead.
Although in a way I hope First Victory does not go to the Guineas, don’t want too much competition for (Lumiere) the lead there.Value Is EverythingApril 11, 2016 at 13:51 #1242043Unless she hasn’t trained on, I just can’t see past Minding for both the Guineas and Oaks. I find the fillies division pretty underwhelming compared to the colts so far, whether in the UK, Ireland or France. Minding is the only one remotely exciting, even though I quite liked Somehow’s maiden win. Still time for something to crop up mind.
April 11, 2016 at 16:58 #1242075I think Coolmore at 6/1 and a sporting bet on Fourth Way at 22/1 is the answer to the Nell Gwen.
As far as the Guineas goes Besharah is still a huge price and even last year I thought it wanted at least seven and for me the mile will suit it fine. And watch out for Tanaza which has beaten both Minding and Alice Springs last year and will be a player if the ground doesn’t go soft!!
April 11, 2016 at 22:04 #1242106I’m with Raymo on Coolmore for the Nell Gwyn tomorrow.
I will be there so hope to get a few pics of her if the rain doesn’t mist up my little camera.Nathra has the obvious chance having been 2nd to Minding to Coolmore’s 4th in the Dubai Fillies Mile at Newmarket, but Joseph gave her a lot to do as she was held up at the back and short of room when the time came to make her run. I guess it all depends how either filly has progressed through the winter but will take the chance that Coolmore has improved sufficiently to beat Nathra tomorrow.
First Victory is a filly that I would really love to see win this, so will do both and a reverse forecast.
Fingers crossed..good luck Raymo get the cakes out. April 12, 2016 at 08:10 #1242134Nell Gwyn
In what looks on paper a three horse race, I’m siding with Coolmore.
A baby of a horse last year with plenty of improvement to come this year.
It’s a bit of a guessing game with them all 1st time out but
at 5/1 it looks the each way theft of the race with bet365 paying 1/4 odds plus the back any winner at 4/1 free bet offer on show.Blackbeard to conquer the World
April 12, 2016 at 08:23 #1242136Think Nathra may be the one to beat, but 20/1 Mix And Mingle is the one that holds the most appeal to me.
April 12, 2016 at 22:36 #1242205I think Coolmore at 6/1 and a sporting bet on Fourth Way at 22/1 is the answer to the Nell Gwen.
Raymo…Coolmore didn’t look the part today. Went to look at her in the pre-parade and thought she looked lack lustre in her coat and she wasn’t on her toes and feeling good about herself. She made a good show first part of the race but faded in the last furlong under pressure…Nathra, the winner, was very impressive and has now shortened for the 1000 Guineas to around 12/1 ahead of Illuminate who didn’t run today because of the soft ground.
My other filly First Victory ran just behind Coolmore and didn’t impress today like the winner.
Apart from that managed to find 4 winners and none looked more impressive than Swiss Range winner of the Fillies Maiden and Hannon’s Ventura Storm in the Fielden Stakes.
Back for the Craven on ThursdayWell done Seabird11 Nathra outshone them all

from the way Coolmore ran she probably needed it and I think she wants further maybe.
