Lake Victoria 12-1
A first stab. Will find out Sunday if she is better than Bedtime Story, who was less impressive last time, as it looks like they have both been declared for the Moyglare.
September 15, 2024 at 15:13 #1707735You’re on a nice ticket now Mike, she’s half the price with most firms.
September 15, 2024 at 15:17 #1707744So far so good green
September 16, 2024 at 10:22 #1707847Good early pick Mike…

I wouldn’t give up on Bedtime Story yet, I’ve backed her for the Oaks previously and again this morning. It wasn’t her day albeit she has been a tad disappointing since Ascot but Ascot was soo good it would have been hard not to.
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
September 16, 2024 at 10:34 #1707849With a cash out option too, no doubt.
Like how he cashed out Fairy Godmother the moment Bedtime Story crossed the line in the Chesham.
September 24, 2024 at 16:10 #1708353I didn’t see anything in that race to suggest Lake Victoria should be stepping back a furlong for a Cheveley Park. Is she that quick?
September 28, 2024 at 12:38 #1708672Hopefully the rain that came might help make it more a stamina test for LV.
September 28, 2024 at 14:29 #1708693Blimey. She took off.
September 28, 2024 at 14:32 #1708696Shes a guineas horse mike, wouldnt be concerned she won that and stays sprinting, definitely will go back up
September 28, 2024 at 14:41 #1708697AOB interviewed said Guineas. Jockey suggested another run this season, the fillies mile.
September 28, 2024 at 15:11 #1708701No doubt, she really could be top class, imo to do that over 6 when shes more suited to further, id be excited to see her as a 3yo, the time figure in comparison to the middle park really is supberb, shed have hammered the colts, no reason on breeding she wont train onto 3
September 28, 2024 at 15:27 #1708704I am surprised Lake Victoria is still as big as 4/1 with Hills. Presumably they must have a doubt about her stamina but I doubt that will be an issue.
September 28, 2024 at 23:47 #1708737Saw her in the paddock today and she looks just like her half sister Inspiral with the talent to match.
She’s a serious contender for the 1000 Guineas next year.
Great price you got there Mike.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 29, 2024 at 05:20 #1708740I don’t think there is a need for her to go to the Fillies Mile myself. She came out fairly quick from Ireland to Newmarket to bag the G1s and the Fillies Mile is less than a couple of weeks away. A risk she may run below par there. Just put her away now for the Winter.
October 10, 2024 at 21:42 #1709470My first bet here, Falling Snow, must have fallen in a hole as she has disappeared without trace since her maiden win. Her understudy that day ran well too, pulling clear of the rest and has won since. Backed her for this and at 40s for the Oaks.

February 25, 2025 at 09:04 #1721352Not seen since winning the Albany( God knows how she got up) is fairy Godmother the forgotten filly in the race?
February 25, 2025 at 10:42 #1721356I”m definitely in the Lake Victoria camp but I won’t be backing her AP just waiting to see her on the day and how she’s wintered.
The filly I have backed AP with a freebet from Paddy Power is…
Arabian Dusk – 25/1 (Paddy Power) EW
Sire – Havana Grey
Trained by Simon & Ed Crisford
Possible jockey- Oisin MurphyShe is the filly I’m looking forward most to seeing again.
She really caught my eye running 3rd to Lake Victoria in the Juddmonte Cheveley Park and in the paddock she looked like a 3yo.It will be very interesting to see how they have both come on this season.
There is always the possibility that either filly may go the Irish 1000 Guineas route but would love to see them take each other on at Newmarket.
Arabian Dusk currently only holds an entry for the Irish Guineas but hoping that might change.Arabian Dusk – 25/1 EW
