Quadrilateral: highly likely the best in the race but i wouldn’t put much faith in charlton having her ready FTO in a classic, that is the only off putting thing about her
Love: i think if the ground comes up Good to Firm tomorrow she will win this, fillies mile was her 7th race in 4 months last season and i feel it caught her out, didnt handle the track all too well and i think that will in turn set her up nicely for this
Millisle: wont stay. Dont like her breeding, dont like the formline through tropbeau, ill be laying her
Raffle prize: wont stay. Dont like her breeding dont like the formline through tropbeau, johnston horses running very well is a positive.
Outsiders, cloak of spirits and rose of kildare are two i could see running a nice race at a price, particularly the former
I think quadrilateral will be up there and if she where trained by someone else id back her but i have absolutely 0 confidence in him getting her ready for this, positives would be he had one ready today and it won, this is much different though, obriens nuance in home prepping i believe will close the 3lb gap
Everything else is a bit ugh
June 7, 2020 at 02:08 #1490020Millisle probably backed into joint favouritism after latest trainer comments. This is what she said about any stamina worry yesterday…
“I’m not really because if you look at when she won the Cheveley Park, she wasn’t going to win anything when they got into the dip and when she hit the rising ground, she stayed on very well and ran right through the line to the extent that Shane had difficulty pulling her up.”
“I trained her half-sister and she won over I think a mile and a half and she was placed in a Listed race over a mile and six. So I think there’s plenty of stamina in the pedigree. Starspangledbanner has put enough speed into her and she’s also a filly that will relax. So i’m hopeful.”
June 7, 2020 at 08:43 #1490031Not a clue who will win, but with Ballydoyle only running one in this looks like the plan is to bounce out and try to make all. Granted that G3 at Leopardstown was a weaker race than at Newmarket she was very impressive from the front that day. Still think she is an Oaks horse like.
June 7, 2020 at 08:49 #1490034I’m on Quadrilateral at double figure prices
but with the way the races have been going favouring speed I think Millisle comes right into itBlackbeard to conquer the World
June 7, 2020 at 10:43 #1490044Not as bullish about Millisle as was regards Kameko but she has best speed figure posted as yet( in my opinion), bettering the rest of the field. Obvious stamina and for me draw worries but has a chance of getting trip on dams side of pedigree. She gets my tentative vote.
June 7, 2020 at 10:57 #1490050It’s changed to good ground at Newmarket.
I’ve taken a flyer on two, one i put up here a while back- Cloak of Spirits, im on at 35s and Hannon seems happy with her. Hopefully she can run a good race, i wouldn’t be uber confident on her, but i dont think the race is a top top quality renewal, so she could trouble them.
The other i am going to chance is Under The Stars. This one is purely a price thing, yes she’s been beat by Love and Cloak of Spirits already, but i do think she’s shaped very nicely on both occasions, and is probably going to enjoy the mile. Trainer says shes small which explains why she only made 6k as a yearling. She handles the track, should enjoy stepping upto a mile and has a great attitude.
I think a Millile won’t stay same with Raffle Prize, i think Quadrilateral might get caught out here and i also think Love needs further. So while one of those could win despite those concerns, i think UTS is worth a chance here. She doesn’t have as much to find in my eyes as some think.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!June 7, 2020 at 11:02 #1490052Cant believe they are running raffle prize tbh
I’d have thought commonwealth cup should’ve been the main aim of her entire season
June 7, 2020 at 11:19 #1490056Thanks Jack
I just noticed that myself…Blackbeard to conquer the World
June 7, 2020 at 13:13 #1490072Quadrilateral 10-1 ew, Millisle 12-1 ew.
Good luck all.
June 7, 2020 at 14:52 #1490086Love’s my main bet, but I think Rose Of Kildare could run a big race at a big price.

So don't run, just like the others always do
June 7, 2020 at 15:25 #1490090I’ve backed love but also think Les hogues bring some solid French form so I’ve played her e.w , good luck all
June 7, 2020 at 15:28 #1490091I’ve backed Rose Of Kildare EW at 40/1 fivelongdays with Quadrilateral as the winner..already have Love at 11’s EW but think Quad will win..
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 7, 2020 at 15:32 #1490092Under The Stars ew at 28/1 4 places for me. I think she will go close.
June 7, 2020 at 15:36 #1490093I had a good look at her e.w to robbo
June 7, 2020 at 15:38 #1490094I’ve added Shimmering 22/1 e/w 5 places Paddy Power to my Raffle Prize bet
