On request, i have been informed that i took a easy dodge out of my role as forum agony aunt… so here it goes…
Dear Grasshopper/Kotkijet,
This is an argueable topic. Is it normal indeed? Well, yes, i believe so. But now you’ve got catching crabs to worry about.
Zome.
Dear Ian/Grasshopper.
Dope smoking and gambling – the perfect combination. Don’t be fooled in to thinking wacky backy will effect your bets in a bad way. It’ll probably help any members of this forum.
Zome.
Dear Mesh/Ian
Whats the harm in a little self confidence? Watch out for barry dennis though – he might put you to shame after my previous advice to him.
Zome.
Dear Zoz on behalf of Mesh.
No hope i’m afraid. Frankie Dettori was so very 90s. Toffeechinos!? I wouldn’t have thought so. Get some lager down you and get yourself you a gig
Zome.

One thing led to another and next I found myself inside Zome – possibly needing help.
I beg your pardon!?
Dear all,
You problems have driven me insane. I think Jerry Springer is the show for you all.
Zome.
Dear Zoz,
Always kick it. And nope, the plectrum stands at £8. haha. Why don’t college computers have msn?
Zome.
ZOOOOZ!
Dear AP,
Ahh Tony, i’ve always worried about you. Your move from Somerset, was frankly, a bad decision. The season your current employer is having can’t have helped your vicious attacks on your mounts rear ends. Maybe you could start riding like Carl Llywellyn, or possibly not carry a whip at all. Maybe take a leaf from Paul Carberry’s book, and not move a muscle untill 3 cms before the line. This could keep you out of trouble, but then again, it would probably get you into more trouble. Sorry i’m not much help. Ask Gee Armytage. She’ll know what to do. Plus she’s hot.
Zome.
Dear Scottish Jamie,
Baby Badgers are a rare delicacy. Try roasting with sprigs of rosemary and lemon grass, and serve it up with deep fried mars bars tossed with a nettle salad. Remember to sell the fur to a fashion label. Finally, don’t blame me if you get TB.
Zome.
Marry me.
Dear Zoz,
HEY! Who’s the problem solver here?! Keep on truckin’ with the ninja noises.
Zome.
Dear robertylea (Elaine),
I’m sorry to say, it sounds like you are beyond help. If this infatuation with Mr Nicholls continues, then take a swift trip to specsavers.
Zome.
P.S We are talking about the double chin Nicholls and not the one who used to play mad Joe in Eastenders right?!
Dear Ian,
You should embrace this visitor, and welcome her back over and over again like a cheating, hot wife. She obviously thinks highly of the forumites to keep on trucking back and forth. And i’m sure she has a particular soft spot for yourself.
Zome.
Dear Barry.
Mr Dennis, amongst the barrels of good ale, theres always a few corked bottles of 1.99 tescos value p|ss. Don’t let this spoil your drunken binge amongst the racing world! Go forth!
Zome.
I don’t know what you just said. Did you make ninja noises yet?
Dear Zoz,
Oh deary me. What a pickle. McCrirrick is often linked with many misfortunes, although i think your troubles may have started after the fear that was enduced by the prospect of a contestant getting locked in a zone on the crystal maze, and an inner fear that they will never get out, or find a crystal. So, your foot is infact fine, but dwelling on the prospect of being stuck on set with Richard O’brien for …well, ever, which is causing your foot great pain. Try eating twenty mint imperials and a plate of chips. Or make ninja noises. I find this helps.

Quote: from zome on 12:54 pm on Feb. 22, 2005[br]Le Tigre are just becoming popular, although they’ve been around for about six years. I’ve heard them being played in Topshop, and on a advert with Jamie bleeding Oliver. This is all much to my discust. Pfft.

The new Le Tigre stuff isn’t as good as the first two albums IMHO – "TKO" was a very underwhelming first single off "This Island". It would be very lazy and convenient of me to ally this dip in form to them having now moved a major label and been given some proper money to play with this time around, but I doubt it’s wholly coincidental.
I saw them play in Bristol last April, and the songs off the then-forthcoming new album didn’t go down at all well comparatively. The irreverent cover of the Pointer Sisters’ "I’m So Excited" curried a bit more favour with most, but irritated me – they’re better than that.
"Decepticon", "Keep on Living", "Whats Yr Take on Cassevetes", "Hot Topic" etc etc all still kicked mighty ass, though, and their movie show backdrops behind the stage make me giggle.

I agree. LT’s debut album was fantasic, as was ‘Feminist Sweepstakes’. I saw them last October, just after ‘This Island’ had been released, and the new songs went down really really well. I think the electro-clash disco pop music is going down well with the kids, and of course LT supported the Scissor Sisters on a tour not so long ago which would gather following.
I heard some kids on the bus the other day saying "Hey have you heard that new band Le Tigre" and i wanted to smack them down. How dare they be unwise to Kathleen, JD and Johanna’s previous amazing albums. I think ‘TKO’ was a good song to realse though, and as i said before, i’ve heard it played in TopShop and H&M and stuff :-(, but i did hear ‘Deceptacon’ from their first album on a Jamie Oliver program advert :-D .
I never thought i’d be discussing Le Tigre on the racing forum! I’m so happy :D:D:D:D
Bloc Party suck live.
Le Tigre are just becoming popular, although they’ve been around for about six years. I’ve heard them being played in Topshop, and on a advert with Jamie bleeding Oliver. This is all much to my discust. Pfft.
The Kaiser Chiefs are amazing, so are The Bravery. Rilo Kiley are also one of my new favourites.
I was in a lift with The Zutons in Japan last year. Their hotel room was just down the corridor from mine at the Fuji Rock fest. Also met the Killers out there who were in the same hotel also. I like the Killers, even though they’re a bit… poppy mainstream sounding, and i’ll get slapped for liking them by a few folk i know, but well… i’ve always liked them and i shall not stop.
The Kills have a new album out, and are just becoming more recognised. I prefered their debut album, but the new one is tipped a lot so i’ve heard.
Watch out for a girl punk band called Pony Up! They’re like the Donnas, but much more fun.
Out with Emo.
Oooo corrrrr blimey Brody Dalle. Nice one Twinkle! :cheesy:
Black Tongue – Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Karen O is a Godess.
BAaaaaa baaaaaa baaaaaaaaaaaaaa
follow the shepards all the way to the slaughter house.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
It’s just like being a Manchester United fan! what percentage of the fans actually come from manchester!??! They are supported so much because they win and have pretty football players with popstar wives. All the money they get from merchandise etc, allows them to spend money on expensive foreign players and so how can they loose when they have all this. They dominate. They are fascists and bullies. It’s all silly. It’s boring and stupid and all about money.

Of course it’s had a good impact. They always do at first. Then the public gets sucked in to thinking that these big companies are doing a good thing for racing. They mean no harm, but they cause plenty at the end of the day. There may not be any hard impact as of yet, but at the end of the day…the one’s with the most money win, and it’s gonna get boring. Look at formula one…….dominated by a couple of teams. Wheres the fun? Wheres the sport?
godolphinballydoylecoolmore .Ltd. Lovely. Another coorporation for the world, happily snuggled amongst a sport it is going to take over leaving small yards with no winners…which means no money…which means the sport will dry up. Losers.
