He wont be winning any Champion Hurdle this year. He has had to be dropped a long way.
I think that O’Neill saved him for the good ground, If O’Neill thinks he’s too good to mess around with then take note.
I would expect him to come on a bit for that run. I hope M’Coy is better in time to ride him at Cheltenham , he looks tailor made for the horse.I was surprised to see Walsh grab hold of him like he did.
Friggo,
Air Force One was overrated until today, by my calculations he will have little chance of reversal.

I don’t bet until the day of race, unless I am planning to lay it off, so I didn’t partake of the 20’s. Congrats to all those that did and also those with bigger. They are lucky people!
Aftertime bashers please form an orderly que.
8/1 for the main event looks fair
lets hope its on, forcast -3 Thursday night and -4 Friday night, without any daytime sunshine.
thanks.
where fist?
Thanks for the replies.
I don’t know if I have learned anything though!

A week After this someone at racing post did an analysis on A King in the same scenario scenario and judged it to be a worthwhile exercise.
apracing,
where do you get the races and prize money information from?
I hope she comes back something like. I remember her run in race where she fell behind Exotic Dancer and Our Vic. She was well backed and running really well until a soft mistake. There is a good three mile race in her.
Sharks close their eyes when they attack prey.
Lay anything he talks about with closed eyes!
gc,
We obviously look at a horse, a trainer and its races in different ways. The lack of a run over 3m would not preclude its inclusion into my analysis for a 3m race at Cheltenham in the Sun Alliance or any 3m race at any racecourse.
Howard-Johnson, in the very same article, acknowledged that TB’s jumping was "novicey" and that he "needed practice".
In my opinion, which would not stand up in a court of law, Tidal Bay ran today over the wrong trip. I did not include the quotes he made in my pre race thoughts so that will prevent me from including them, as a further negative compounded by the trip today , in this discussion.
GC I wasn’t aware of that quote(poor research). I must say that it would have made no difference whatsoever to my evaluation had I seen it. Very often trainers are wrong about the requirements of the horses they place. However, I can accept that he thought he should try the trip, last year he thought precisely the same thing (fast enough for the Supreme Novices but that 21 was an ideal trip). Significantly, in my view, he didn’t run in it. If he ran it over 3m he could have a good horse on his hands, furthermore, I am not 100% convinced that he even likes Chasers.
Carvillshill well done on your selection I hope you got some fives.
The trainer beat Tidal Bay, Its last six runs have been over a minimum of 20f It was second over 21f at Cheltenham when a novice hurdler, It has won 4 of its last six races. You tell me why the bugger was dropped to 2m? No wonder the horse jumped poorly, he needs a bit more time at his fences. Thank goodness he came back in one piece.
Moved to other more suitable thread
I, m glad its not just me (you know what I mean). Very annoying when you can only see half the post. I could put up with it if the scroll bar thingy worked.
