It was in the racing post today. It said the he will be doing voice overs on the features during the meeting. He won’t be presenting i don’t think. It also said that on the saturday before cheltenham (9th march) he will be doing the voice over on the jump boys documentary which follows ruby walsh, davy russell and barry geraghty

Master Oats
The most improved horse in training in the 94/95 NH season. Not quite the same horse after that, though he did put up a great performance to finish 5th in the 97 national carrying 11-10.
Thanks very much. I will give these options a try.
Hello. I was just wondering if espmadrid is putting any more videos on youtube as there hasn’t any new ones put up for a while. The one’s allready on there about 330 odd are brilliant but of course I’m sure I’m not the only one who would like to see more of these past races.
Hello Alan Strawballs great hearing from you. You must have some great stories from those days. Were you a jockey as well? It would be great to hear more from your experiences from working in racing. Thanks
Sorry meant to say the national fences are NOT what they used to be. Sorry for the mistake.
What do people think about Long Run going for the Grand National. I know he makes mistakes but he does seem to stay really well. The aintree fences are what they used to be, though they do still take some jumping. I just think that he would perhaps be more suited to the national. Also do you think he needs a change of jockey? I know it probably won’t happen with his dad as owner. Though if he did go for the national Sam Waley Cohen does have a good record round aintree.
Do people think there is any chance jump racing could return at other places such as Nottingham and Windsor. As Folkstone and Hereford are going and they both stage jumping and flat in Folkstones case it would be good if jump racing could return to Nottingham and Windsor. I know there is a good chance Hereford could return in 2014 but it would still be good to have at least 1 or 2 courses more with jumping. What do people think. I welcome the idea of jumping at chester as I am a die hard national hunt man but I agree that it could be very dangerous going round those bends.
Hello suttonplus do you have the full 3 day bbc covrage of the 1995 grand national meeting if so I would be interested. Thanks very much.
I’m another person who would like to have complete covarge of the big meetings. The meetings I would love to have are the BBC Grand National meetings from about 1990-1997 that was when I was just getting into racing and but didn’t record them. I know it’s a lot to ask but if anyone does know how or can do them can they please let me know. Thanks very much.
It’s great seeing everyone’s opinions. Personally I think Richard Dunwoodys Obsessed is brilliant It gives a great insight into his life and is very honest. The timeform annuals are fantastic in terms of detail and information and the Chris Pitt books are great aswell especially his Grand National one Go Down To The Beaten.
Hello Stilvi I would be interested in the sales catalogues. I live in Solihull so not far away to collect.
I was looking through some of the racing celebrity Q&A and noticed that in the Luke Harvey one he mentioned about a documentary he was in with Carl Llewellyn and Richard Guest. Does anyone know if it’s on youtube or anything as I haven’t seen it it must be about 20 years old now. Was it any good?
