Does anyone know were I could get any chaseform books from the 70’s and early 80’s. I have got most from after 1985 but the 70’s and 80’s seem hard to find. The odd one pops up on ebay every so often but I was wondering if there might be any other places I could find them.
Thanks

Usually has a stand at Stratford racecourse and a few others and has a cabinet full of old stuff like this, worth giving him a ring, nice chap.

A large box of racing books was sold at an auction just before the weekend.
On the 6th a place in Nottingham are selling some Copes – not the era / type of book you’re after but it gives you an idea. That site lists auction catalogues from throughout the world. On the 5th, Cottees in Dorset are auctioning a scarce copy of A Guide to The Perfect Knowledge of Horses by M De Saunier, published in 1769.
Thought this was interesting

February 4, 2013 at 17:40 #428505Thanks very much. I will give these options a try.
February 5, 2013 at 23:40 #428648Tindells in Newmarket always have a stock. You could try to negotiate a discount for a bulk buy.
February 7, 2013 at 09:06 #428747I’ve got just about every year from 1970 till 1990.
Drop me a line on mike.shack@btinternet.com if of interest.
Got all sorts of stuff from when I used to collect back in that period, but family came along….
