It seems to me that in most businesses these days, the drive to win new customers overcomes the fear of alienating present customers.
Good Point and one of the reasons why I stopped watching the morning line ages ago.
To follow on from Seabirds comments most successful companies selling products today understand their target market along with customers. I don’t think the morning line understand either
The format did nothing to retain me as a customer. Over the weeks it became clear to me there was no reason to get up on saturday morning to watch the antics of tommo el al.
It’s been said before, the content of the program is dated but “theyâ€ÂÂ
Tanya is, I’d presume, sleeping with someone in a position of influence. She may have sound knowledge of dogs (being one herself, in my opinion) and the market but she makes Angus Loughran come across as articulate. I feel sorry for her.
As tommo would say..
"Ho Ho Ho…that’s one for the judge!"
The case for my selections has already been stated

Lets face facts, All-Weather is here to stay and its relentless march into the betting calendar will continue as more and more courses open. I am not defending A/W racing over turf but we do have choices. Embrace this form of racing or ignore it completely! To be honest in today’s environment of fixture congestion between racecourses and the dilution of quality horses in general we are not going to be offered betting opportunities that make our life easy as punters
I side with Aranalde comments above (Posted on 1:05 pm on July 27, 2006) … … as punters we need to evolve and this forum presents the perfect opportunity to openly challenge conventional wisdom and share ideas on how we can solve the conundrum presented to us on the so called “dog tracksâ€ÂÂ

Excellent thread folks..
Based on Massey’s data
http://www.adrianmassey.com/draw/redc10.php
I was going to side with those draw down the middle but after reading the analysis above you guy’s have convinced me that those drawn down the middle should be given preference. We’ll find out after 3:15 tomorrow :o
PS: I am from the camp that says the draw is a factor (sometimes a major one along with pace) but a factor that falls into a secondary category after class ceilings, going preferences, recent form etc have been considered
Welcome back Darrell.
During my fledging years as a (mug) punter, I followed the original system with interest. If the new version is anything like the old version then “profits are a coming baby!â€ÂÂ
