Final Furlong have a team, Talking Horses, Atacanta and OHRacing. You’re the only board left not yet with a team entered, so don’t chicken out

If you can get a team together (a team of 6, plus a couple of subs in case of no-shows is advised) then please confirm you can and who will be playing on this thread…

    Here are the rules:

Each player can make a maximum of 4 selections, and only one of those selections can be each way.
The same numbered players from all teams, including B teams if they take part, all take each other on, with the player who makes the most money in his or her group scoring the same number of points as the number of teams who take part, ie if there’s 6 teams the winner would score 6 points for his team, 2nd would score 5, 3rd would score 4, etc etc down to 1 point.
On top of that the highest scoring player of the day scores 5 bonus points for their team, and the second highest scoring player of the day scores 3 points for their team.

£1000 for each player to bet with, non runners are losers so post reserves, you must gamble all of your money, and any miscalculations will be added or taken from the bet on your first win only selection, or reserve for that selection should it not run. The cut off point for entries is the time of the first race on each day.

No minus figure for losers, so if you have one winning £50 bet on a 3/1 winner, your score will be £200.

Looks like you won’t be entering a team – fair enough, I tried. I guess you know you’re not up to it…

Ted’s put his foot down and said if you’ve not got a team together by 7pm this evening you’re not entered. So, come on, throw your hat in and get involved. You wouldn’t want to be the only forum not involved now, would you?

Ted’s decided to put his foot down and unless you’ve got a team of 6 (or 2) together by Monday evening, 7pm, you’re not playing :D

its basically fraud, hes running something that he knows wont win, and is backing it, basically buying money from the bookies, thats like phil taylor playing a world championship against barneveld at darts, and betting himself on betfair to loose, purposely loosing.

The horse WON. WON. WON. WON. WON. WON. WON. WON. WON. WON.

Living very close to Lincoln, I really hope they open up the course and develop it. These are for purely selfish reasons, for sure. I don’t see how they’ll do it though. The road into Lincoln which passes between the stand and the course is far too busy to shut on racedays and the course is cut through at the 3f pole by the Lincoln by-pass, so how will it work? Also with the course being a sole 1m straight, no racing will be further than this due to there not being a round course.

Mick Channon had a horse running in the Brian Yeardley today that was having about its 7th start.

I like a policy like Sir Michael Stoute has with 2yo’s. Only a few runs to bring them on and then whoosh as 3yo’s. Nice and patient. However, admittedly, not all owners are as patient as his (or as patient as he makes them).

    Why not just use Betfair?
