Mr Stacky,
The other guy does them every day in real money. If you read all the post you will see he has had trouble in getting them on as 3 bookies stopped him doing them he does them on betfair now.
When hes away his son does them for him over £18k up since Jan 1 2008 but he tells me he has made a profit each last 4 years.

All I can say is that Mark who swears by this sticks rigidly to it day after day.
He has no real interest in actual horses or races for him Sea The Stars could be a novice hurdler to him its just another horse.

I never had any bets on this race.

Eve Johnston Houghton the trainer of Yurituni was quoted on the Sporting Life website tonight as saying
‘

today was the plan

The handicapper has been quite nice to her

She also praises Harry Findlay for sending her this horse.

The two questions that should be asked are

What do you mean by today was the plan so do you mean then that the previous runs were not in your plans to be trying a yard?

When you say the handicapper had been quite nice to your horse this means that you knew that it had a decent level of ability so why can you then offer no explanation for ‘improved form’.

The handicapper can only give a mark to what a horse has achieved and he cannot be privvy to any trainer and owner hatching up some plan to deceive him (and all other punters) so why did you think he had been quite nice to your horse when all known racecourse form so far had been moderate at best?

The only saving fact was that this horse had been well backed all morning which was highlighted on both RUK and ATR and also on Oddschecker.

Of course the connections of the second were cheated out of a win as if Yurituni had been raced fairly in just one of the prevoius races the handicapper would not have let it race on such a low mark and as it only got beat a short distance and this placing would surely have been reversed.

The other factor to consider was did the ‘owners’ lay it on any of the other 3 races when they must have known the handbrake would not be let off?

Judging from many ‘come back’ rides including Dettori’s and the infamous Declan Murphy one at Chepstow the first Fallon won will win.

The best ride over the last week was the one given to Kings Apostle in the

Group 1

in France on Sunday.

The jockey was English but I forget his name.

Think he has a sister that landed a touch at Brighton last week when she romped home.

Without his injuries two years ago he would have been Champion Jockey for the last 3 years.

Possibly used to live in Brighton.

Jounalist Peter Thomas yesterday in the RP kept comparing him to Lester Piggott.

Any thoughts who the jockey is?

I wish them well but the interview in the Racing Post leaves a few questions un answered.

Bert has many horses in training with a lot of trainers. Will they all now be going to the Dascombe yards?

There are many trainers that start off well but after a few seasons the results tend to drop to a more modest level. Would it not have been more prudent for Andrew Black to have waited for the Owen/Dascombe partnership to develop before investing a 50% stake into the venture?

With Andrew Black living in on his farm in Surrey a helicopter will be needed to visit his yard in Cheshire on a regular basis.

As Graham Wylie found out this year with his Cheltenham horses having horses trained in the north often means they have more chance of training set backs due to bad weather than they do in Newmarket or Lambourne.

Will the stable become like the Lady Herries yard where there is so much money around that potential owners have to be invited to have horses in training at Anmering Park so in the end its closed to small owners and modest syndicates as it is all family and business associates that have horses with her?

Andrew Black is at least pumping some of his millions into horse racing which is a good thing but to take up the challenge to compete on a weekly basis with Stoute, Gosden, Hills and Hannon etc is a long way off.
