but civilised society has to try to stop them doesn’t it, both from the carnage they are trying to cause and they’re open mission to impose their sharia beliefs on the entire population of the world. neither of these actions can be acceptable so civilised society has to try to stop this and as the saying goes, you can’t make an omelette without breaking some eggs – btw, how can you be an innocent illegal street vendor – illegal is illegal so if cameras intended to help the fight against terrorism also rid the streets of other illegals, ain’t that a bonus ?

i’m glad you said that UN, because i originally doubted that the man who put a track down so many years ago at lingfield could put something exactly the same down at wolves and it has been enough time at wolves now for it to start to show some effect at settling, i would have thought. i would expect the surface at wolves and kempton to be very similar though as they were laid much more closely together, their times do seem very similar as does the amount of kickback where lingfield is definitiely faster with less kickback, it all seeming more compacted. i guess i’d need to go back over past results and have a look at lingfield, to see if there was a period where times did show an improvement after "x" years due to the surface compacting or settling – and look for the same at wolves, though i suspect not much will be seen at wolves. knew i shouldn’t have binned my spreadsheets…the surface at lingfield is definitely "dirtier" and more glues together than the other two, maybe i should email the geezer who does the polytrack, but would he answer, or would he prefer not to reply ?
no, I don’t see the problem GH and the point about turkeys voting for christmas is fair enough for me. as for the enough bullets, "but look at iraq, etc" i did say if they are used properly and there are still plenty left, i doubt we’ll run out we just need to try harder. as for the who decides i am happy to do this and have offered to do this on more than one occasion, to be the sole arbiter on any such matters until the rest of society can agree as one. trust me, it’d work fine, much better than it is now – the numbers of dissenters would eventually fall until we all did agree
blinking heck, i thought users of this forum would be less likely to fall for the tipping line nonsense, than your average joe mug punter.
point 1 – nobody would share informatin that could make a profit, not even for money, don’t delude yourself they would, it don’t happen in the real world and it won’t happen in racing<br>point 2 – mostly they are guessing with perhaps the odd bit of information to make them look clever<br>point 3 – they neither care nor guarantee success or profit<br>point 4 – their only aim is to increase their profit which is solely provided by the poor deluded people who use their "service" – strong word that for what it is – and if that means using respected names and sharing fools gold with them, so be it, the bottom line is king
however, I have as little sympathy for people being fleeced by tipping lines as I do those fleeced by gullible fools who pay people they have never heard of thousands to claim a prize from a lottery they didn’t enter or those giving their bank accounts to …. etc
obviously the tractor with the rake went over the course 3 times before racing and….no, but seriously, I wasn’t paying attention there. was there a wind following them around the course or did the gates or finish move or was the timing out ? probably not as 3 races were run slower than standard and the 2m race was listed as slower than standard as well as a course record ? probably just coincidence though I have been wondering when Wolves will start to speed up as a surface. if the polytrack at wolves is exactly the same make-up as lingfield it should eventually become as fast though it will need years of settling, weathering and going over to make it the same, as will Kempton. I have marked Kempton as similar to Wolves for times though will have to reconsider if Wolves is getting faster, I will need to put some time in going back over past results…
the Bullet, you cannot have dialogue with terrorists. terrorists are those who blow up passenger planes, shopping centres, buildings and practise other such indiscriminate murder. happy for the liberals to spend till next eternity discussing whether certain people are martyrs or terrorists but that should not stop the rest of civilised society using the bullets, there are enough bullets to do the job, it’s just a matter of using them properly
yquem is right and this is what makes racing special and while everybody else is rightly recalling great horses of the past, 2 performances that i particularly enjoyed and which sent me home with a smile that lasted were Palawan winning a sprint handicap at lingfield over 5 years ago and Nayyir winning his first ever race, also on the polytrack at lingfield. though they went different ways they were special days for me and far surpassed some of the top drawer racing i have been too as well. great days they were and one of my many email accounts is palawan – my favourite racehorse (rip)
not that red sauce is any worse than brown sauce with an all-day breakfast…..nope, i can’t dig myself out of that one…..:(

just seen the response re. annonymous criticism – spot on – perhaps maurice would like to post us a picture of himself and mrs mo and we and all can pass similar judgement on them. c’mon then maurice, let’s see it…..suggest you start a post as a poll with options ranging from munter/dog through plainly average to decent or quality…..i can’t wait
