X needed the run and will come on for it said by X
That’s schooling in public then your honour?!
Interesting as well that Barry Geragthy was saying on ATR this morning how the modern facilities and methods mean bringing a horse off of a long absence is ‘easier’ to do nowadays, yet in the last month i’ve lost count of how many trainers/jockeys of jumps horses have said "needed the run" or "will come on for the run"
Worth noting that the Princess Haya horses will now be running for Godolphin – thats a fair percentage of the runners Johnny G sends out.
Anyway it costs about £50 and you also get a free Premier Entrance ticket to Future Champions Day. Lunch with a genuine legend. Highly recommended!
How do you go about booking it?
Thanks
On a recent visit to Meydan we were unaware there was any racing taking place. Some sort of jazz band played loudly through everything, no idea what was going on so we left. On very close examination I think we saw a horse! They have built a place larger than an airport with as much atmosphere as an empty one.
Go again on world cup night. Amazing
In the last 5 minutes the woman has announced:
– jockey Tim Murtagh is retiring
– sprinter saker is out of Cheltenham
– and silviani conto is second fav for the gold cup!Useless!!
And she still makes more sense than dear old Tanya
She’s easier on the eye than Tanya….!
Godolphin normally go well throughout the carnival. Jockey bookings are not usually a guide to their ‘number 1’ though so don’t let that dissuade you.
Barzalona seems to ride meydan well IMO
Mike de kock usually has a classy team and Soumillion usually rides a good number of winners.
There are all manner of godolphin/mark Johnstone horses running in various guises of Sheikh ownership it’s like sheikh mo gives his mates horses like we might buy a mate a pint!!
Form from kempton seems to translate well to the tapeta from my experience. The turf is usually very quick given the climate.
You’ll see from the cards jockey wise you could be looking at any decent uk meeting! Particularly as the carnival heads closer to World Cup night
Grand crus would have been interesting but he’s not entered.
Sprinter is a doubt.
Race wide open if he doesn’t turn up
Nothing in tomorrow’s (Monday) iPad version of the racing post.
On twitter the editor says they are investigating it though
He’s being campaigned like a crap all weather handicapper.
Not sure if its Bolger or godolphin but his placing has been a farce.
Give him a break now and bring him back for champions day and he’ll win the mile race.
I wouldn’t say there is a number 1 as such.
MB seems to be riding more of CA’s horses whilst SDS seems to be on more of SBS’s
Shows Knott’s customary lack of class when last week he was denying the sale to America to DBS last week which led to them putting out that tweet.
DBS have confirmed that hunt ball will be part of Wednesdays sale with Knott confirming the horse has not been sold yet despite reports in the racing post. Via DBS twitter feed
Barry G has posted on twitter that Simonsig and sprinter have worked together but don’t anymore because they both go to hard when together.
But he did also say that Simonsig is the only horse that can get Sprinter off of the bridle!!
Now less of this lets up sprinter in trip. I say get him and Simonsig running against each other in the tingle creek….
I agree with you.
According to Godolphin’s website he is on track to appear alongside colour vision.
The ground should not not be a problem for columbian, its good to firm at the moment and he has won and placed on GF – the 3lb penalty could be against him as you say.
