poor boy, RIP

You are right BG, I’ve watched the replay again now and do remember it. I think at the time I was just glad to see that there was no horse behind the dreaded screens as the field went past again.
I too was happy to see that they didn’t omit the fence next time round. I didn’t spot Walcot Lathyrus anywhere so assumed he was OK. There have been some horrible falls in the last week, real cartwheelers, but most of the horses survived.
RIP poor boy
RIP poor girl x
Shame on his owners!
He did get up and run to the line, but he was running on three legs. His hind leg (with a white sock if I remember rightly) was not put to the ground. It has been reported that he was pts. RIP lad

Yes Moe, I think it was something to do with the Kidney Foundation, or something similar. Unfortunately, a similar thing happened to Buffy the Beatle recently who was also running for them.
RIP Highrate
Horrific accident. RIP Stevey’s Lad, hope he didn’t suffer. My thoughts are with everybody involved with hope that they are all alright.
I realized that he had run in points this morning when I was looking at another website. I’m afraid I wept most of last evening at your first report of his fall. So upsetting to think of him just sitting there waiting, poor boy.
Horrid fall, the poor boy never took off at the final fence. Think this was his first race, too. RIP lad

RIP old boy, at least you had a very happy retirement with your friends x
