Excellent news and seeing Denman at Kempton will be fascinating – if he hacks up would they then consider the King George in the future? Obviously it’s all about getting the great horse back on track/proving his wellbeing though so really hope it gets the go-ahead.

Would love them to have switched the Game Spirit as well as Denman/Master Minded would surely have packed the crowds in but you can’t have it all :D

Excellent work by the irish authorities once again with the fast/smooth rescheduling of their top class Hennessy card –

Here’s a picture of Cheltenham being cleared of snow in time for the Festival following the famous big freeze in 1963…

Holding an inspection as early as 8am on Friday surely means that they believe it’s got no chance :(

Good to see Kempton making plans to put their Friday card back 24 hours if it gets called off though, bit of initiative for a change.

I suppose they could say Sunday initially (inspect at 7.30am on the day)and then look at later next week if things still haven’t improved by then.

I don’t buy all this nonsense about the irish being different to us because they have a lighter fixture list – surely a card like this at Newbury takes precedence over next week’s cards at Leicester, Musselburgh and Fakenham.

Really hope so TYF but on another forum it has been stated that sadly he isn’t and it was also apparently mentioned on Racing Replay on RUK as well…

We lost In Accord, Mick Jerome, Blue Splash & Gustavo on Tingle Creek day and obviously Pressgang & Killaghy Castle today…

    Not good :(

Does anyone know if Killaghey Castle got up after falling at one of the railways in the last?

    Didn’t look good… :(

I would downgrade this and upgrade the Independent Newspaper Nov Chase at the Open meeting to Grade 1 status.

The Scilly Isles did however produce one of the most impressive performances that I’ve seen by a novice when Best Mate won, I can still picture the awesome/effortless turn of foot that he showed on bottomless ground.

IMO all RUK subscribers should get FREE online replays dating back to when they took out a sub or even going back to when the channel began.

Luckily I’ve got it on video but just as an example, it’s not right that I would have to pay 20p everytime I want to watch the legendary Tingle Creek with Moscow Flyer/Azerty/Well Chief.

As connections want decent ground for Star De Mohaison and the forecast is for a deluge, why on earth have they declared Exotic Dancer (won this on heavy in 07) as a NR?

I love Cheltenham however I think Aintree is more customer friendly especially with all the new facilities and the station being right outside the main gates. The nightlife is also great for a young lad like me :D

The mistake I think I made was just getting a basic tatts ticket meaning I had to view races from the mound to get a decent view and its a right crush getting from there to the paddock/winners enclosure and back when you want to cheer in the big winners.

I did try the Queen Mother roof on an ‘access all areas day’ (when Monet’s Garden bt Kauto Star) and was mightily impressed but the prices are a bit lofty for the big meeting.

I work Mon-Fri so I’d probably give up my subscription if this comes in… Especially with free replays available on Channel 4’s website for a week or so.

I grew up watching David do the snooker until the wee small hours on a school night and they’ve never replaced him.

He really was different league to what us snooker fans have to put up with these days – Hazel Irvine, Stubbsy and Rishi Persad

Moehat – I’m sure I read that when he was around 10/11, he saw his best mate get run over and killed. The injury sustained in the FA Cup Final when he was at his peak also contributes to a lot of his problems as well IMO.

Depression can hit anyone at any time whether you’re a brain surgeon or on the dole. And it’s certainly not the same as getting out the wrong side of bed.

He very nearly signed for Man Utd until Spurs stole him at the last minute -I just wonder if things would have been very different if he had been mentored by Fergie like Giggs, Beckham, the Nevilles & Scholes…

I thought about your idea myself Berminn.

And is taking a fall on the a/w much different to taking one on firm ground in the summer?
