Yeah it was well highlighted that it was a troubled passage in France but if he would of got the gap then Spencer would of been praised for the ride. It couldve been the same story today had he not got the gaps but fortune favours the brave.

He did get a few backhanders by Darley when up besides but i thought that was more his quirky side of not goin past but then went away easily enough. He looks to me like he needs further but he ran like a pig over 1m 2 at Windsor so he is a confusing horse.

Would be typical to see George Beat in which he looked the best hope for Ballydoyle today.

Hard to peak a horse for 3 top class races in the space of a month and a half and Peslier won’t be showing that ride to the grandchildren.

Steve Harley says he has been interested in racing for 30 odd years yet he says this is alot better than a 2 mile hurdle race around Bath.

Willie also has to go imo, For a man involved with horses for so long he is completely clueless and the silliest talking little man with Ricard Pitman in racing.

If Dutch Art stays today he will beat Cockney Rebel, i know it may be silly to doubt his stamina after finishing 3rd in a guineas but he has so much speed and he would of been a near odds on shot in the Jersey tomorrow.
