Its ridiculous the way they have handled this.

A fine for waving your arms to encourage your horse to start is mind boggling.

As Hendo says – it can take 4 or 5 men to shove a flat horse into the stalls. Is that going to be outlawed now too?

On his twitter last nite. Its still there.
A tweeter asks will she go to Chelt to which he responds “unlikely”. Then hes asked about Dublin and Aintree as the plan and he gives the thumbs up.

He says in that article –

Greatrex said: “She will have entries in the JLT and the RSA, the JLT is the preference. We will get Ireland out of the way first, I have always said Cheltenham is not her track but things can change.

“I think the owners would love to have a go at Cheltenham, but we will make a plan after Ireland. At this stage I think she’s more likely to go to Aintree, but nothing is decided.”

Id like to see her in the JLT. Smash away from the front.

La Bag Au Roi – Warren has said last night on his twitter that she is unlikely to go to Cheltenham and the Dublin racing festival and Aintree is the plan.

Footpad is set to run in the Paddy’s Rewards Club “Sugar Paddy” Chase at Leopardstown on December 27.

Willie Mullins’ six-year-old carried all before him as a novice last season, winning the Arkle at Cheltenham and the Ryanair Novice Chase at Punchestown.

His return to action did not go to plan this term, however, looking beaten when he fell at Naas in a race won by Saint Calvados, picking up a minor injury in the process.

“Yeah, he seems good. He has been doing fast work at home. He has schooled at home and all seems well (after cutting his leg),” said Mullins.

“Hopefully, fingers crossed, everything will be all right. It looked a very ordinary cut so we didn’t worry too much about it but it was obviously sore. We have let it heal up now and it’s fine.

“That race (Paddy’s Rewards Club Sugar Paddy Chase ) at Leopardstown seems the target for him now, we’ll go there, see how he comes out of that.”

Mullins also confirmed Great Field and Min for the race.

Looking like no Laurina on Sat.

“Because of the ground situation at Cheltenham and the dry forecast, we are have a serious rethink about running Laurina on Saturday and its looking unlikely that she will travel.” Willie Mullins

What gives you that idea? He keeps saying how fast the horse is and is latest quotes look like he is very much against the idea.
Hes mentioned the possibility of stepping up before as people keep asking him about it but really whats the point?
No point going for a Ryanair when you are the best in the business over 2m. Gold cup – 3m2f is a totally different test and not one hes sure to relish.
