There were two Plum Puddings running a couple of years ago .
Remember two fillies named Susanna running in the same race in the early 80s

I’ll be looking at Solar Impulse he ran very well in the Topham a few years back before fading ,seems to have a bit more stamina nowadays.
A Toi Phil could run well but he’s becoming a bit delicate didn’t disgrace himself in the National 2 years ago .

Not sure about Aso being a blatant non stayer only finished 9 lengths behind Ballyoptic and was 16 lengths ahead of Definitly Red in the Charlie Hall I was there that day and despite blowing up he was plugging on perfectly ok on very sticky ground.

Stood to win nearly £500 if Magic of Light had won. Never on the cards though once Tiger came upsides .
Second and Fourth so best result since Sebastian and Drumroan in 78 … Yes it really has been that long.

I’m with Peter on this I don’t feel Ultragold is a non stayer he didn’t look particularly tired in the Becher and with 11 stone on his back he certainly wasn’t stopping.
As for Always Waining the lighting fast ground and warm sun would have suited him down to the ground in 2011 why the handicapper have the last place in the lineup to Golden Kite is anyone’s guess.

Traffic Fluide for me still at this point really keen on him last year but didn’t qualify in time.
Disappointed there is no Relentless Dreamer unless I’m missing something and no Houblon but probably wise.

Very good to see so few ‘social runners’ or silly entries in the race this year. Third Intention probably the most re-donk-ulous on stamina grounds.

Its that sort of opinion that has sanitized the race into near extinction.
Why not just make the race by invitation

I see Buywise is to be given a second shot at the race ,definitely worth another go round there especially if Leighton is up.
