Agree nathan, at that trip over that track on that ground, its hard to tell where his bottom is, we havent seen it and we wont see it, there isnt a horse in training that would have found it today
Fact to files the talking horse, but he wouldnt have a prayer with GDC under todays conditions
Id be hard pressed to accept that any horse would
Its scary to think hes did all this, as barely an 8yo… if he stays sound, he’ll do it all again next season. I pray he stays sound
Obviously if he runs to form GDC wins, nothing in here can run 180 bar him. And ill probably kick myself for bot unloading, but…
Was on nice prices for monkfish in the stayers, big ask coming here off his layoff, but at his best, (big ask) hes not a 25/1 shot e/w
FOS e/w @8/1 is the bet for me though, if he stays hes at worst 2nd imo, hopefully keeps drifting
Lecky watson @14/15s
Makborough & salvator mundi, both wont be winning this, particularly the latter, who will be next seasons supreme horse IMO and theyll be looking to keep the novice status
Seems really simple to me this, kargese and storm heart will be 1&2, SH, should have won LTO, not sure what one will win, but thatt’l be the 1st & 2nd, wouldnt want to be laying either
Hector javilex e/w @66/1
Gabbys cross @14s winDjelo @30s for me, way overpriced
Nicholls current form is rotten, i really fancied Ginnys to run away with it, but stable forms terrible currently
GD, is better over further IMO
You couldnt be backing FV at those prices, insanity regardless of what he does, has to be a lay
Iroko- no chance
Zanahiyr could run well at a price, still only 7,
I dont understand this whatsoever redheadbraceman, so what your saying is, willie mullins has 5 coming upto the last in the ballymore, thats boring because there all his? But would make it more exciting if they where 5 different trainers, but they where 5 different owners though and a 66/1 poke got placed? What difference does it make who trained them in that scenario?
What difference does it make who trains them atall, HE RUNS THEM, AGAINST EACH OTHER, theres absolutely nothing to suggest that other trainers would even get them to the race, nevermind make them competitive, if you take willie mullins out this festival, its dreadful and theres nothing to suggest the trainers could do what he does with the horses, should they have had them…
Will be heavily laying the fav now aswell, place laying also, not winning this
As said on this ill be laying LD after bleeding lto, if he hadnt bled id probably back him, obviously theyve been seriously undercooking him, unless the bump mid race lto caused the bleed then this take will look foolish ofc, hes a 150-152 horse on his a game
Shanbally kid e/w @20s
Mark of gold e/w @50sCheers nathan, was absolutely certain (i said on this thread) that he’d come here hence the price when turners looked the target, not sure i could have taken that price today as i was worried about FAF, no danger though.
Jumping was excellent, be really interested to see what they do with him, king george would be made for him IMO
Where you not worried before the off nathan? I thought he was boiling over again, i was nearly doing a rich ricci when he was walking around, couldnt look
As strong as i was on him at 10s, Far too short today, far too short. Couldnt be backing that peice
Asian master @25/1 e/w, cracking betting race, firefox would be my pick of the main ones bur im happy to just have a small bet on AM and watch a solid first race to the week, no lays, dont feel strongly against anything, i feel anything could win this.
Even better FAF is the 2nd string with jody on board, should get a bigger price than 20s now given hes 9 declared and has some fancy names on board others, will go over most non racing fans heads that jody gets 2nd pick in the bumpers
I honestly dont know how she isnt outright fav, id say patrick will be on JDV and jodie on you oughta know, im hoping paul takes fleur, i really think she wins, will be suited by the typical gallop this goes at. Saves alot for the track it appears
20/1 nrnb still which i find wild, i wouldnt be surprised one bit if patrick picked her (i dont actually think he will) but wouldnt be surprised nontheless
Fleur au fusil @20/1 wins this easily, be bigger on the day, but ill take that for now
Well that latest statement all but confirms that he wont run, “significant degree of inflammation”
